Hi I'm new to this but y/n is originally omaticaya being born there and growing up there until her family decides to go with the tawkami for her fathers work. They end up being attacked by the ash people and her parents both die leaving y/n stranded in the ocean. She ends up being saved by the metkayina where she continues to grow. During her time in the ocean she creates a special bond with the way of water. When the sully family arrives they recognize her but she cannot remember them.
