The Talk

A new day , a new morning doesn't excite me anymore. Not at all. All I was able to think about was Andrew and Aaron's visit in the evening.
I didn't even know how this was going to work out . I was really very worried . Andrew was not ready to listen to anything except the wedding date.

I decided to call Aaron and hear his plan of being an asshole.
" Hey , actually I wanted to ask about your plan for today."
" Hey you learnt manners today." He chuckled.
" Just please talk . I am not in the mood for fun ."
" Leave it on me darling. I will do whatever is right."
" Fine thanks. Bye."
" Wait. At least be helpful to me and suggest things which will make your parents furious."
" So just don't bring flowers or anything, talk to them about how you are all about money and how you spend it like they grow on trees."
" Okay thanks darling "
Why the hell Darling ? I tend to get a little nervous when he says that. His girlfriend must be very lucky.

I informed my parents that Aaron is coming. They were very happy. It was like the queen coming for dinner. Little do they know about our fake agreement.
It was evening and finally I heard the bell ring and I rushed to the door . Aaron was in a black shirt this time. Damn . Black looks good on him. I couldn't help but stare at him.
" Hey darling, remember me ?"
" Uhm hi Aaron!"
" Hi."
A long pause between us .
" If you are done staring with your wide eyes, may I come in or I should stood up you guys so my impression is bad?" He said smiling at me.
" Ah, ya of course , please- please come in."

" Hey Aaron , how are you ?" My mom greeted him .
" I am good , how are you Mrs Brown?"
" We are all good , Jake is coming, he is upstairs on a important call, please make yourself comfortable."
" Sure." Aaron replied.

He sat on the couch facing the tv and I was waiting for my mother to leave the room. As soon as she went in the kitchen I dashed to Aaron almost not tripping and I sat besides him adjusting my dress.

" Okay so you ready?" I whispered to him .
" How can someone be ready to be an asshole?" He raised his eyebrows towards me.
He had a point.
" But you know what to do right ?" I asked.
" Yes of course Ma'am. Everything followed according to your instructions." He replied in a sarcastic way.
" You have to . Please do it right. I can't make Andrew wait any longer. "
" What do you mean ? "
" Nothing. Just go on ." I said it and got up as I saw my Mother coming.
My father joined in too .
As per the plan , Aaron started rambling on about everything I had told him too. He even added some of the other things which can be offending towards my parents.
My parents faces, were shocked as hell.

As soon as he left . I turned to my parents to get their reaction and to hear their judgements.
" Look , did you see that? That's what I was trying to say about these rich people"
" He seemed too upper class right Jake?" My mother said.
" Yeah kind off . And the way he was talking about marriage it made me feel little weird." My father replied.

Finally. Now they will break the marriage.
1,2,3 and.....
" But my dear Nina is going to live this wonderful life a upper class life. I am so happy for her." My mom said happily.
" Yes true , she can have whatever she wants without worrying about the cost . It's great . I think we should focus on his good qualities. He was very presentable and soft spoken."
" True Jake he was very kind to Nina . I think he is the best choice for her."
" What no?! Didn't you see that?"
" Yeah we saw, he seemed a little over about his money but that's life you are going to live ahead. And that's very nice."

What the actual fuck is happening? This should be the end . They should hate Aaron. Why are they not ?

Aaron was calling me. He was waiting outside near his car. I didn't wish to receive his call.

Aaron:- 'Hey come outside darling, I am waiting '. He messaged me.
I went outside furiously. He was standing besides his car and scrolling on his phone.
" What have you done?!" I yelled
" What , I did everything as you said. Can you ever be thankful?!" He exclaimed.
" I don't know what magic you did but my parents are not even a little to the cancellation side. They are happy for me to marry a wealthy man. They love you so much that they want to ignore your bad side. Now what? What I am going to do ? I can't . I have to convince Andrew again. He is not ready to listen to me . What should I do ?." I was so tensed . I yelled at him . For absolute no reason . He was not to blame but at that moment I didn't think it just came out. I almost was going to start crying.

A long silence was between us . He didn't utter a word. I was kind of waiting for him to say something or atleast yell at me back. But he was silent. I decided to break the silence.
" I - I am sorry."
" It's okay darling. Go get some rest ." Aaron replied and got into his car and left. I really felt bad for yelling at him , after all he tried to help me. I decided to apologise later. As he said, ran to my room and slept. I even missed calls from Jane . But it's okay I will tell her everything afterwards, I don't have any power right now.

It was almost to midnight I still tried to call Andrew but he didn't receive. I was feeling so bad . I tucked my head into the pillow when I heard a beep from my phone. I hoped it would be Andrew but it was Aaron.

' sorry to disturb you this late. But I might have an idea to Stop this marriage.'
' say it faster then' I replied to his text
' Tell your parents that I am divorced .'
' You are what?!' I was so surprised.
' Just tell them this, maybe this will work .'
' But are you really?'
' Do as I say.' he replied.
What is he hiding? I was also getting curious about him as Jane said.
' you didn't tell me your reason yet .' i texted him.
'Good night Nina.' he replied.
' Aaron?'
He left me on read.

What? He is definitely hiding something, what if the divorce thing is actually true ?
