Chapter 22: Confusion and encounter

As I was trying to impress ame-kun, I didn't think that he would react this way.

" That's nice I guess... " I lowered my head out of disappointment, but immediately looked at him again as he said " But.. you're already beautiful as you are "

As I tried to face him, he was already gone. My face is currently hot, what is this?

" Akane! " Yuki, called out.

" How about we go ou- oya? What happened lady? " Mem-cho immediately looked interested. " What happened akane-chan? "

" U-uh ame-kun called me beautiful " I muttered, but they seem to have heard it.

" Kyaa!!! " Yuki turned into a fangirl as I told them. " Maybe you both can be a couple at the end?! "

" Well.... " I got on a thinking pose. " That's a possibility. "

" Akane! Can you bring ame here? We'll be starting soon. " The director asked me, and I nodded.

I followed the path of ame-kun and on the hallways, is where I saw him.

" Ame-kun? " I called him, and he twitched.

The next thing that I saw sent shivers throughout my spine.

Ame-kun has the eyes of someone that has already given up, but it still has a spark that shows.... He has one more thing that he has to do before....

" Ye- akane? " He looked surprised, but I was still silent because of what I saw. " Do you need something? "

He asked me, and his eyes returned back to having it's mysterious look.

" Ah! Y-yes! Director is calling for you... " I regained my breath, and continued. " He said that we're going to film now. "

" Oh I better get going now then? *Chuckles* " his personality changes again, as if.... It's a different person. " Thank you for calling me akane! "

He walked back towards the filming area, almost sprinting.

" Was he hiding something? " I looked down. " If you have something in your mind ame-kun... I swore to help you. "

I then returned as well...

Amethyst POV

The filming was over early that I had expected, so I had the time to wander around.

Ruby also called me that he wants us to go on a date? Can you even call it a date?

" It is a date! " Ruby pouted. " How can you be so dense sometimes? Mou! "

" Well... " I sighed. " I haven't tried dating after all... "

" *Chuckles* Is that it? Well~ how about we go to akihabara~? " Ruby suggested.

" I guess... " Ruby grabbed my hand and we made our way to akihabara.
