As such thoughts were running through my head though Finn approached me.

"Hello Rimuru," he said. His eyes held a seriousness that he only seemed to ever aim towards matters regarding me.

"Hmm? What's up?" I asked.

"I just have a question for you is all, you wouldn't happen to know about any small white-haired girl would you?" He asked.

"Hmm? White-haired girl?" I repeated the question as I tried to recall ever happening upon something like that.

"Yeah, blue eyes and a monotone facial expression too," he added.

I don't think I've met anyone with that description. I failed to recall anything that may help.

Great sage you got anything.

<<Negative.>>

"...Sorry, I don't think I've encountered anyone like that," I said.

"No it's fine," he said, his shoulders relaxing slightly as he said that. He closed his eyes and began to think.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"..." he silently thought for a moment before sighing. "Well, it's a bit of a long story, but some of the Kali familia encountered this girl and she seemed to stall them for a bit before they set out for some reason," he said.

"Oh, I see,"

The Kali familia was one of the groups that the Loki familia had been dealing with on this trip to Meren. Or so I heard after eavesdropping on a few conversations.

They were a group of amazons under the goddess of war Kali. They had their own country called Telskyura and apparently, it was a brutal war-like country where people fought to the death to get stronger.

That was...certainly one way to get stronger I suppose. It really didn't sit right with me, to be honest, and that seemed to be the case for most people.

With that being said Tione and Tiona seemed to come from there. Apparently, they were allowed to leave, however, they seemed to be a special case. I wasn't too clear on the details.

Finn nodded, a grim look on his face as he spoke. "Well if you figure anything out please let me know," he heaved a sigh and walked back towards the familia.

Hmm, a small girl with white hair? I began to think about it a bit more, I may not remember anything, but well who knows what may be with the rest of my soul. Even aside from that, questions began to pop up, why were they doing this?

I mean it was probably unrelated to me, at least I hoped, but I couldn't say for sure if that was the case.

Something about this just made me nervous.

The Loki familia really has their work cut out for them. I thought, staring at Finn's stony visage.

A part of me felt sorry for them, with everything that had been happening, me included, they must've been having a difficult time.

I wonder what Sophia's up to? I thought listlessly as things here finally seemed to come to an end.

(Sophia POV 1 day prior)

It was a cool and starry night as I walked through the mostly empty streets of Orario. I had just gotten back from a solo quest to the dungeon. I didn't go too deep, I was still recovering from my time there a bit, but well I could still get to the middle floors myself just fine.

I wore a warm black overcoat gifted to me by Rimuru. It wasn't like anything I had seen before. Long stretching down to my knees it was almost like more of a cloak yet there were buttons on it, and instead of a hood, it had a large collar that covered my neck.
