Gotta go my own way (Smokescreen x Human OC) Part 1

During a mission, The Autobots and Peter Erickson were spying on Decepticons at an Energon Mine. They detected Energon on the monitors in the AutoBot Base and went to go investigate it. They decided to bring Peter because Sonce Peter has magic powers, he would be able to be of assistance while Jack,Miko,and Raf stayed behind to assist at the Base.

"Are we going to attack or stay here longer" Peter Asked
"Patience Peter,Optimus will let us know when to go and attack" Arcee answered
"Yeah Peter,Once we get the clear from Optimus we can go" Smokescreen said
Soon blasters we're activated and the Autobots started Attacking.

After thinking that all the decepticons were destroyed that were at the mine, one Vehicon was still online and set his blaster to Smokescreen. Peter turned around seeing the Vehicon ready to shoot at Smokescreen.

"Smokescreen look out behind you"
As the blaster from the Vehicon was shot, Peter went into his AutoBot form and jumped infront of Smokescreen to protect him,but the blast shot Peter to the ground and unconscious.

While Smokescreen got up,he shot the Vehicon and ran towards Peter. Peter and Smokescreen are dating, and their relationship was going good.

*Back at base*
After Peter was Healed,he was thinking about something that he never wanted to think, but he has to make the decision. As he was walking down to his room, He ran into Smokescreen.

"Hey Peter,How are you feeling" Smokescreen Asked
"I'm fine,but I can't do this anymore Smokescreen"
Peter Said.
Smokescreen was confused
"What do you mean Peter" Smokescreen asked in a confused way
Peter had to tell Smokescreen what he has to do

Peter:
Smokescreen, Listen

I gotta say what's on my mind
Something about us
Doesn't seem right these days
Life keeps getting in the way
Whenever we try, somehow the plan
Is always rearranged
It's so hard to say

Smokescreen was feeling down and was not wanting this to happen. He loves Peter and doesn't want Peter to Leave just to protect him.
Peter Entered his room in his human form Packing his stuff with him. Even the photo he took with Smokescreen on their First Date
Peter starts singing again
Peter:

And I watch them fall every time
Another color turns to gray
And it's just too hard to watch it all
Slowly fade away
I'm leaving today
'Cause I gotta do what's best for me

Peter I walking to activate the ground bridge which will take him back to his house that he lived in when he moved to Jasper. No one was there, except for Ratchet

"Peter what are you doing,why are activating the ground bridge" Ratchet asked in a worried way
Peter looks at him
"I have to leave"
Ratchet stood there in shock
"Why" Ratchet yelled
Peter answered his question

"I have been getting Smokescreen almost killed,In order for me to protect him,I have to leave and not come back" Peter Said while tears were forming
"But Peter we need you here with us,please don't leave" Ratchet said,pleading for Peter not to leave

"I'm Sorry Ratchet,but I need to go,take care of everyone for me on"
Smokescreen Came running in, while the other autobots were behind him look at Peter and Smokescreen.
Smokescreen:

What about us?
What about everything we've been through?

Peter:
What about Trust?

Smokescreen:
You know I never wanted to hurt you

Peter:
And what about me

Smokescreen:
What am I supposed to do

Peter:
I gotta leave but

Both:
I'll miss you

Peter:
So, I've got to move on and be who I am
(Smokescreen:Why do you have to go?)
I just don't belong here, I hope you understand
(Smokescreen:I'm trying to understand)
We might find a place in this world someday
But at least for now (Smokescreen:I want you to stay)

Peter:

Smokescreen falls on his knee and starts sobbing and feels something in his hands. He opens them and sees the necklace that he gave Peter. The necklace says
"SpeedDrifter and Smokescreen:Lovers for Life"
Smokescreen was on the floor still sobbing while the other Autobots are in shock. Mostly Bumblebee is in shock, but devastated. Peter was like a Brother to him and Now Peter is Gone.

Peter's POV:
After leaving the base,I regretted my decision,but I still followed it because I don't want Smokescreen getting hurt because of me.It's the only way to Protect him and make sure he is gonna be ok. I still love him and I'll never stop Loving him.

OMG THIS WAS SO SAD FOR ME TO CREATE.
For this being my first One-Shot,It was exciting,but sad for me. I don't own the song that is in this One-Shot. I'm hoping I can create a Part 2 for this. If I decide to do a Part 2,I'll start it soon. Enjoy this One-Shot,more One-Shots will come soon.
