Lanzhan finds himself in need of an Omega when his Nie Country visa application is denied and he's threatened with deportation. His quiet assistant, Weiying, just so happens to have dual citizenship. The problem? Making sure their romance is believa...
Lanzhan stared hard at Song Lan, his heart thumping hard in his chest. He was seething with rage. They were so close , and now this asshole had to come in and try to fuck everything up for them. He loved Weiying. He wanted to be with him, actually be with him. Maybe this marriage had begun as nothing more than a show for him to gain citizenship, but it was so much more than that now. And Lanzhan would be damned if he was going to let this oily prick steal that from him.
Lanzhan stepped closer to Song Lan, staring down his nose at him. It seemed that he hadn’t gotten the height like his brother and nephew had. Lanzhan felt a grim sort of satisfaction when Song Lan took a half a step back from him.
“Here's your statement, you dick,” Lanzhan spat. “Weiying worked for me for nearly a year and a half. Six months ago we started dating. We fell in love. I asked him to marry me. He said ‘yes’.”
Song Lan glared up at him. “Don’t be stupid, boy.”
“No,” Lanzhan said. “I’m not being stupid. I love him, and there is nothing in this world that is going to stop me from marrying him.” Lanzhan leveled him with his gaze. “I’ll see you at the wedding.”
He spun on his shoes and walked out of the Head, letting the door slam shut behind him.

There was a knock at his bedroom door, and when Weiying turned, He saw his father standing there.
“It’s almost time, A-ing,” Jiang Fengmian said as he stepped into the room. He paused for a moment to admire him, his eyes growing misty. “You look so beautiful, honey.”
“Thanks, Dad.” Weiying smiled warmly at him as He got to his feet.
Huaisung and Wen Ning had really outdone themselves. Weiying truly almost didn’t recognize himself. And the Tux was stunning, with its delicate lace Shirt and coat. His mother had gifted him a Silk cream scarf, that was all the adornment his outfit had.

Jiang Fengmian walked over to him and put his hands on his shoulders, smiling tightly.
“I’m so proud of you,” he said, his voice choked by his emotions.
Weiying sniffled and blinked away the tears that burned his eyes. “I know, Dad.”
He kissed his forehead before he pulled his in for a hug. Weiying wrapped his arms around him, breathing in his comforting scent and hoping that, if any of this ever came to light, he would be able to forgive him. Then he pulled back.
“Are you ready?” Jiang Fengmian asked him.
Weiying glanced back at his reflection one last time before He looked at his father again. He took one breath to calm the butterflies dancing in his stomach.
“Yes,” He said. “I’m ready.”

Lanzhan took one breath to calm his nerves before he went around to the back of the barn where the ceremony was being held. Idly, he thought that it was a good thing that the weather was fair enough to host this outdoors, even if it was still chilly outside. He was glad that the reception, at least, would be held inside the barn.

Madam Yu, Madam Lan, and Baoshan Sanren had done a wonderful job setting everything up. All of the snow had been cleared away. White wooden chairs sat on either side of the aisle leading up to the white pergola, which had been decorated with garland and flowers in shades of white.
Everyone was finding their seats. He saw Madam Yu, Madam Lan, and the bridesmaids (Omega) and groomsmen (Alpha) standing near the pergola with the officiant, a quirky man named Jin that Lanzhan had only been momentarily introduced to. His mother spotted him and waved him over, smiling joyfully. Lanzhan took one more breath before he made his way up the aisle.
“Lanzhan, you look so handsome!” Madam Lan cried, hugging him warmly. She held him at arm’s length. “I can’t believe you’re getting married, sweetheart.”
Lanzhan pulled back and offered her a smile. “Don’t cry, Mom. You’ll ruin your makeup.”
“Don’t worry about my makeup,” Madam Lan said as she blinked her tears away. “You just focus on your bride, okay?”
“Of course, Mom.”
She patted his cheek. “I’m so proud of you. I love you so much.”
“I love you, too,” Lanzhan murmured back.
Madam Yu checked her watch. “It’s about to begin. Places, everyone!”
Everyone hurried to their seats. Lanzhan took his place at the altar next to Jin, with Lan Qiren, His Step father, Xichen, and Meng Yao to his left, and Sizuhi, Huaisung, and Jingi on the right. There was a small speaker setup off to one side, with Aang at the helm, and a moment later, the music began to play.
