She goes to wipe away her tears
Saying goodbye to the boy she loved for years
He takes her hand into his own as he feels the loving spark
She aches just knowing that what they had was about to fall apart
"I must go now, it's my time"
Is what shattered the girl's heart
"I knew you'd leave sooner or later" she says,
taking him by surprise
Shortly all the memories flood
Every moment in each other's lives
"I'm sorry I am leaving, please don't be upset."
"It's hard when I know that I'll be the only person that you will forget"
"Come on now, you know that's not true, I'll be a few states away"
"Remember me, I beg you, or I will hate you everyday."
He tries to pull her in a hug
But she just backs away
"You said you'd never leave me...
Now you are turning the other way."
