I gave you wings so you could fly
But I received nothing in return
I gave you courage to stand and rise
But you left and now it hurts
Did I give you too much power?
Too much of my time and hours?
Did I give you too little power?
So that you run away like a coward?
Was I not enough?
Did I do way too much?
Just so you can run from me?
Did I come off as rough?
Make you too tough?
So that you could walk all over me?
Now you take your courage and flight and leave
While I stand on the ground and bleed.
