Stan

I felt Kyle pass out. I felt him press his hand against my cheek. Before his hand fell back onto the bed mattress. I felt my heart stop. I thought he died until I saw his chest rise and fall.

I wasn't very religious but I thanked whatever god existed for saving Kyle.

Kenny walked in with Butters wrapped in his orange jacket.

"So.. you told him huh?" Kenny said.

"Told him what?" I asked softly sitting up in the bed not to wake Kyle.

"You love him back? If you didn't and he just passed out he's dead." Kenny said, covering Butters ears for that last sentence.

"I told him I love him... What's that have to do with all of this?" I asked, feeling myself blush.

"Well in that case i have a list of introductions to take once Kyle wakes up." Kenny explained.

"He just doesn't get better? How do you know all this?" I asked.

"You get bored on the internet and learn a few things." He shrugged.

"Oh." I stated.

"Anyway. The disease should end and stuff." He looked on his phone before speaking again. Kyle gave Kenny his old phone so Kenny actually had some kind on life with the internet.

"So first he'll wake up. Then he'll cough the flower part of the disease out. You know how all plants have roots? Yea... that's the bad part. Most people die during it." He said.

"Die?! He can't die! No! I won't let it! Tell me what I can do! Now!" I yelled.

"Slow down there tiger." Kenny said calmly.

Before I could speak Kenny shushed me and spoke.

"Kyle will wake up in 24 hours. His body will force him to cough out the flower disease after 2 hours when he wakes. Then after another 2 hours, his body will force him through the worst part of this disease. Every flower, plant, herb all has roots. There are roots attached to his lungs and his body doesn't like this. His body will make him cough good enough to detach these, then he'll choke 'em up. He can die during this, many have giving up through the painful process of this. His throat will hurt so he won't speak for a week. During that week he recovers. Any questions?" Kenny explained the whole thing to me.

"Oh, wow. That's a lot to take in. Will Kyle be okay?" I asked, hoping the answer was yes.

"If he doesn't give up, yes." Kenny said.

"Then I wont let him! We'll be in that together. What can I do to help him?" I asked.

"Well encourage him. Make sure you keep him in a good posture to help him breathe properly."

"Alright, I'll do all of that. Now there's one thing I need to do." I said, getting up.

I walked out the cabin to find Wendy.

I've always liked Wendy, but one day it just wasn't the same. I thought Kyle wasn't my crush until  11th grade. Me and Wendy just broke up to much for me to still properly love her.

I found Wendy in her cabin on her phone. Alone, thank god.

I walked in and stood in front of the bed she was on.

"Oh hey Stan~" She smiled.

"I wanna break up. I've found eyes for someone else. I- I'm sorry." I said.

Wendy looked horrified. Before she could speak I left the cabin. 

Thank god I got that off my chest, it's been there for to much. I was keeping track of the time.

3 hours in until Kyle wakes up. I smiled at the idea of Kyle waking up. Then frowned thinking of the painful process he had to go through. I looked up to a meeting being called. I walked over covering my ears against the loud speakers.

"Alright everyone, today is the day we're going back. Get y'all's stuff and in 4 hours we'll be leaving!" The teacher stated.

Fuck, Kyle is still gonna be sleeping. Gosh how would I do this.. I thought walking back to the cabin Kyle was in.

Kenny and Butters weren't there, I saw them at the big meeting. I saw Kyle still sleeping in the bed. I smiled at how peaceful he looked.

I packed up our stuff putting them all into our bags. I separated Kyle's stuff from mine. I looked around after an hour of packing. Done. I smiled then turned back to Kyle still sleeping. I set a timer for 3 hours and 50 minutes. Then climbed into bed with Kyle holding him close as I slowly slept with Kyle.

I jumped up as my timer rang. I groaned and sat up. I leaned down and kissed Kyle's unconscious forehead.

Would be a great time to wake up. Thank god we get set straight home once we get off the bus. I thought.

I picked up my phone and texted Kenny.

Me: Hey dude could you help me? I need you to help me get our bags in the bus. I gotta hold Kyle.

Kenny: One step ahead of you, I'm coming

Great, I sighed dropping my phone into my pocket.

I stood ip and opened the door for Kenny.

"Thanks for helping man. Means a lot to me." I smiled to Kenny.

"No problem." He smiled.

I let Kenny in and Kenny grabbed our bags, it wasn't much so it was fine. I picked up Kyle and me and Kenny walked out the house. We walked to the bus, thankfully the teachers are so dum they didn't notice me carrying an unconscious person. I found a seat with no people and set Kyle down. I thanked Kenny and grabbed our bags. Kenny walked away and I sat by Kyle.

Thank god that went well. I sighed with relief and settled myself, leaning onto Kyle. The ride there took 14 hours so we should be good.

I yawned and watched a movie on my phone for the rest of the ride.

Once we got there Kenny grabbed our stuff and I picked up Kyle. I walked to my house, Kenny was right behind me with our stuff. Butters helped, I couldn't thank them enough for what they were doing for us.

I opened the door and lead them up to my room, I settled Kyle on the bed. I grabbed me and Kyle's stuff from Kenny and Butters and thanked them a lot. I waved as they left.

"Already one more thing. When Kyle wakes up call me, I'll help with everything that happens." Kenny ordered than left.

I nodded and Kenny left with Butters.

I'm so lucky to have friends like them. I smiled at the thought.

I sat on the ground and waited the rest of the 3 hours Kyle would have before he would wake up. It was already getting dark so I yawned. I got up and got in bed with Kyle. I held him close and fell asleep quickly.

I woke up to someone coughing a lot. I forgot about everything and didn't think it was Kyle. That was until I opened my eyes, of course.

My eyes widened in shook at what I saw.
