Solitude makes her cry so hard sometimes,
She doesn't say anything because she never whines.
Her heart is locked up in a secret safe,
The key thrown away in a very deep cave.
She doesn't go out looking for trouble,
She does well in double.
She wants to be a good daughter,
So everyday she makes sacrifices to accommodate their.
She wants to be a good teacher,
Stays up all night to make things easier.
She wants to be a good writer,
She pours her heart into the pages that have no reader.
She wants to be a good sister,
So she contains her wild character.
She wants to be a good co-worker,
So she swallows her distaste forever.
She wants to travel the world someday,
She wants to photograph every shadow of the sun ray.
She wants to shine at a party,
For once be the one called freak or crazy.
She wants to write about her family,
And not hide behind a pen name so badly.
She wants to be selfish for herself,
Unapologetically ask for the things she deserve.
She wants to make her mama proud,
Unafraid to claim her out loud.
She wants to make her daddy happy,
Show him her world with her kids mostly.
She wants to drive her brother to university,
Listening to the latest songs as he complains about her in an Audi.
She wants to travel around with her sister so much,
Read so many books, and act American such.
She prays to keep her dear friend,
That their relationship will be the best till the very end.
She hopes that all her dreams will come true,
And that she'll be by her side all the way through.
