Inspired by the movie All together Now

She said they'll have their dream house eventually,

Huddling on her daughter in fear, that poor mommy.

She said she'll get them out of this mess,

Sadly, that never happened, unlike the movies.

Mommy never thought she'd lose her husband,

She wasn't prepared for all the work he had to stand.

She had spent most of their married years spending away his money,

Never did she give a thought to her daughter's tuition fee.

Eventually was all she said when she wanted to burst into tears,

She bit her upper lip so hard and breathed her threes.

She regretted making all the foolish decisions for people to abandon her so easily,

What was all that for if you wouldn't help a friend that became a little unlucky?

The daughter was too young to fully understand what was going on,

All she got from her convo with mom was that daddy was forever gone.

She was sad at first, then she got mad,

Why would they get to keep theirs and take her dad?

Her mom started to date this guy named Oliver,

He seemed nice at first and they moved in soon after.

He used to give her creepy looks whenever he walked by,

Came to her room, pretending to sing a lullaby.

She strongly hated that man she told her mom she'd rather freeze in the cold of December,

Than live with a guy that can't get his shit together.

Her mom was adamant that he was only trying to help,

She was too tired to see the pain in her baby's yelp.

She then had the guts to tell her mom no,

To moving in with Oliver when they hit so low.

She was working 70 hours a week to live a life better,

Than the one, she was shown by her mother.

She never gave up on eventually,

Till it turned its lights on her brightly.

She was able to make it out of that mundane city,

To go on a tour around the world multiply.

Now, she preaches about it like no one before,

That eventually you'll find what you're looking for.

Whether it's within you or around you just hold on to,

The faith that it'll eventually come to you.
