She's Just Lonely

She's so beautiful

That young girl

I wonder what her smile

Would like from a mile.

I bet she doesn't know

That she has secret fans.

Both men and women who

Both admire and envy her.

I wonder what she sounds like

Whether it's as deep as her eyes

Or as soft as her dark lashes.

I wonder what a conversation with her be like

If she'll argue her points like a politician

Or will she be mild like a pediatrician.

Sometimes I feel like staring at her for hours,

Hoping to catch her dreamy eyes

Yet praying she wouldn't stare at mine.

Oh why is she so Devine?

She stays away from the crowd

Doesn't like it when it's loud.

Doesn't make a sound,

Everyone thinks she's proud.

I like her nonetheless,

My light in darkness,

Would want to be hers,

Only from a distance.
