〚Your P.o.v〛

"(Y/n), hi, it's been a few days, but can we talk?" Kyle asked me, as I stood in front of my Culinary Class. I looked at Craig who was glaring down at Kyle.

Instead of answering, I walked off.

Well, I'm not grounded anymore, so I better get home right away. I could probably watch tv or something before doing homework. Or I could do one of my favorite activities! Napping! The idea of taking a nap made me very excited.

"(Y/n)! Wait!" I heard Kyle's voice.

Oh, what a drag.

I kept my pace, but he caught up with me.

"(Y/n), please? I'm not gonna stop bothering you if you don't listen,"

How annoying. Normally, I'd be one to give in easily, just to get the social interactions over with. I suppose... I'm feeling normal.

"Fine, what?" I looked at him annoyedly.

"Come over to my house—"

"No,"

"Please! I just want to apologize! I know you wouldn't like it if I did it in public,"

I sighed. He's right. If he's gonna apologize anywhere, I'd prefer it be in private. And he said he wouldn't give up, so I guess I better get this over with.

"Okay, good—" He tried taking my hand, but I quickly moved it away, and glared at him.

"Sorry, sorry! I didn't mean to cross any boundaries! Just follow me then,"

I silently followed him through the neighborhood. The silence between us wasn't awkward, but it was a bit tense. I am still angry at him, but for some reason I don't want to be angry at him forever... if that makes sense.

After walking we made it to the neighborhood over where he lived. He lived in a house painted in a sage green. The build was similar to my house, but to be fair, all the houses in South Park were basically formatted the same way.

He knocked on the door, and a little kid opened the door.

"Hi!" The kid greeted me warmly, before hugging me.

Oh. Kids. I hate kids.

"Hello... child." I replied awkwardly, patting his head. I guess he doesn't seem to be one of the brattier kids, that's sorta nice.

"(Y/n), this is Ike. He's my brother," He told me.

"You'ree sooooo pretty... will you be my girlfriend?" He asked. Bro, this is kid is like 9. What's with him?

"Uh—" I looked at Kyle nervously. Interacting with adults and people my own age was difficult enough, but kids? Oh god, I can't interact with children.

"No Ike, you can't, I already called dibs,"

"Kyle," I said, glaring at him.

"Kidding, I'm kidding!" He said with a laugh. Despite still being mad at him from last time, I still felt something when I heard his laugh. Weirdly enough, I felt warm, and nice when I heard his laugh. Something about it just sounded good in my ears... Is that normal? Is it normal to want to hear a person's laugh?

"We can't hang out right now Ike, I'm taking (Y/n) to my room," He said.

I glanced at the kid, as we headed for the stairs. The kid shot finger guns at me and winked. I made a very awkward face and turned forward to go up the stairs. Once on the second floor, I followed Kyle into his room.
