Cut to Megamind, ringing the doorbell to Roxanne's apartment.
"What do you want?"
" Tighten's turned evil"
" Congratulations, another one of your genius plans has backfired on you. And why did my doorman let you up?" Megamind gives her a dehydrated cube.
"Carlos!" Roxanne tries to shut the door on him.
"Please Roxanne, no! No! I need your help"
"Why do you need my help?"
"Because you're the smartest person I know"
"But you can't hide here" She lets him in.
"The copper should have worked. Why didn't the copper work? The copper worked perfectly well last time"
"Copper? You're not making any sense"
"Look, if we don't find Tighten's weakness, he'll destroy the whole city"
"Okay, how can I help?"
"We need to find answers. You knew Metro Man best, did he have a hideout? A cave? A solitary fortress of some kind? Anything that would give us clues?"
"Well, there is one place I know"
Cut to megamind approaching the bad guys house.
"What are we doing here?" Roxanna asked.
"Seeing an old friend" he knocks on the door and wolf opens it.
"Well look who It, i saw what happened on tv"
"Yeah yeah we can talk about this later, right now I need you to help me with something"
Roxanna was puzzled, "what, how do you two know each other"
"We used to be best friends since elementary school" they both said at the same time.
Then crossed his arms to megamind, "you know it's thanks to you that we have to move to get princess somewhere safe"
"Please wolf I need your help"
Wolf saw desperate his was then he looks back at the others.
"Alright, just let us grab princess"
Cut to them driving in a somewhat abandoned field.
"I heard the bad guys gone good"
"Yeah they had to give up everything for a child"
"It's sounds like they are doing well, maybe you should learn from them, You gave him these powers, can't you just take them away?"
"I can't. I lost my diffuser gun when I misplaced the invisible car. The night you dumped me. Alone. In the rain. Did you ever look back?"
"No!" she breaks hardm causing Megamind's head to hit the windshield.
"Ow! My giant blue head!"
"Whoops. I'm sorry, I guess we're here"
Megamind gets out as he and the bad guys looked surprised.
"Megamind do you see this"
"So, this is where he hid it. After all these years. Our old shoolhouse"
Cut to them inside the abandoned schoolhouse.
"You know, I think there's an apology in order for the other night"
Okay, that would be nice, but make it quick. We have much more pressing matters to deal with"
Roxanne Ritchie frustrated groan as the bad guys were curious.
"What exactly happened last night" wolf asked.
"Nothing particular"
"I found out who he was and dumped him"
"Oh well that figures"
He opens the door to a large Metro Man themed lounging area, with many different relics from his glory days.
Wow!" The bad guys were amazed as he was.
"Would you look at all this stuff" shark says as piranha looks around at each display.
"I can't believe he kept all this stuff" He sees a cape with a neck rest attached.
"I remember when he wore that"
"Shouldn't we try to stay focused here?"
"Come on mega mind we need to focus" wolf says.
"Yes, of course, right, focused"
"Hey! Come over and look at this" She Pat wolf's shoulders and causing him and the bad guys to look.
Megamind stumbles over, wearing the neck rest cape.
"What is it? What did you find?"
"Um. Look. This glass has ice cubes in it"
"Yes, that's what happens when water gets cold"
"No megamind" wolf sighs, "Don't you think it's weird that there are ice cubes here but..."
Metro Man with a robe and beard walks behind them, shocked to see them, and tries to quietly walk away and piranha stares at him.
"What I'm saying is don't you think it's a little odd that the ice hasn't melted yet?"
"One of life's great mysteries"
"It means someone is here" wolf says.
Metro Man's step creaks a floorboard, causing Roxane and Megamind to both slowly turn and make eye contact with Metro Man.
" Hey"
Megamind and Roxanne both scream as the bad guys just stares at him.
