It ranked #no.1 on billboard hot 100 & 200 as soon as it debuted and stayed there for 55 weeks breaking the record of the album west side story that stayed no.1 for the longest time ie 54 weeks. Her singles midnight memories, love story, I Knew you were trouble charted at #1 at billboard hot 100 for 150,140, 170 weeks respectively. Some of the other songs also charted at no.1 despite of not being a single.It was the first & only album at the time to take all the top 10 spots on billboard 200 &100 topping charts and smashing records all over the world. She was the only writer & producer of the album claiming that she wanted her fans to hear only her and no one else.
She became the youngest person to receive Grammy for album of the year & record of the year she also won song of the year, best new artist, best pop-rock album, best pop vocal performance & best music video, producer of the year.( idk the categories) In total winning 8 Grammy's, 6 AMA's, 5 VMA's,7 billboard awards, 4 Brit awards and several others. The album was so successful that her fans went to Twitter and tried to manifest a stadium world tour. Being signed to the Warner brothers they agreed seeing the large fan base and success she had built. NYX became the first & only person to have a debut stadium world tour.
