Laughters echoed off the walls of your crowded living room
You got promoted yesterday so you decided to throw a party to celebrate that with your friends since you've been waiting for that promotion your whole life

Your friends were beyond happy for you somehow they always manage to lift you up and make you feel better about anything bad in your life
You were staring at them in complete awe and grace til you felt a bottle cork thrown on your chest

" Ouch" you snapped out of your thoughts
You looked up to see your best friend Zoe laughing
" Somebody had to get you out of your head " she shurgged walking towards you
" Ugh we barely got to speak tonight" she sighed sitting next to you
" I'm sorry I've been quite busy you know" you softly said
" I understand y/n how are you though" she asked rubbing your arm
" You sound weird bitch but I'm fine I guess" you giggled taking a sip of your drink " I mean I got promoted yay"
" I'm happy for you y/n and I Know that you've always wanted this but are you like REALLY okay" she added hesitantly
" Oh I see what you mean " you chukled
" This is about pedri isn't it" you sighed tiredly
Zoe nodded
" It's been a month only so I'm still hurting you know " you admit avoiding eye contact with her
"Uhm I'm not supposed to be saying this but I care about you-"
" What? Is everything okay?" You interrupted worriedly
" Gavi told me he's seeing someone" she blurted looking away
" Well that was quick" you said chewing on your bottom lip

" Zoe let's just not talk about it please" you let out a long sigh

" I totally get it y/n you're not expected to just bounce back take your time " she said pulling you into a hug
{30 minutes later }
" COME ON EVERYONE PARTY'S OVER LET Y/N REST" Zoe said loudly technically kicking your friends out
" Oh god zoe " you giggled
" What ? It's midnight y/n you better get some sleep " she slightly smacked your forehead

Zoe helped you clean up the mess you and your friends made , after that she left you alone with your thoughts
You grabbed your phone to stalk pedri's Instagram
You two broke up a month ago and clearly you're still struggling to move on while on the other hand he's already living a new life
" Asshole " you sniffed laying on your bed to cry yourself to sleep
The moment you started drifting to sleep your phone started ringing
" For fuck's sake " you groaned annoyed
You reached out to your phone on the nightstand to find pedri's name planted on your screen
" You gotta be kidding me " you hung up and returned to bed
However he was constantly calling and you low-key started to feel worried
" WHAT" you yelled picking up the phone
" Y/n I thought you'd never pick up "
" Why are you calling me pedri it's almost 1 am " you said in a high tone
" I'm not allowed to call my girlfriend or what" he giggled on the other side of the phone
" Apparently you called the wrong one" and with that you hung up and turned off your phone
" He's really shameless" you scoffed and went back to sleep .

{ 2 am }
You were woken up by loud banging on your front door
You got up startled half asleep to see who's that
You peeked into the peephole you spotted Gavi so you instantly opened the door
" Are you okay ? It's really late-"
" You're definitely gonna hate me for this but I swear he's been giving me the hardest time tonight " he sighed looking down in embarrassment
" What are you talking about-"
" Holaaaa" pedri suddenly came out behind Gavi a drunk mess
You stood there speechless
" Just when I thought you couldn't get any more of an asshole" you scoffed in disbelief
" Gavi seriously get him away from my doorstep " you glared at him
" NOOOOO" pedri yelled at the top of his lungs
You looked at him with widden eyes
" I have neighbors you sick fuck stop " you agressively pushed him away
" Aww" he groaned
" Gavi do something please " you sighed
" Pedri come on let's go it's already late" Gavi tried to grab his arm in defeat
Pedri immediately snatched it away and literally walked past you going inside your house
" Well I guess my job is done here " Gavi shrugged walking away
" W-what no Gavi come here what am I supposed to do with him" you tried not to yell
" Uhm maybe talk shit out instead of dragging us into your mess " he laughed and got into his car
You slammed the door and went upstairs to look for Pedri

You walked into your bedroom to see him laying flat on the floor
Your heart dropped in your stomach
" Pedri !! Wake up" you anxiously shook his body but there was no response
You laid your head on his chest to check his heartbeat
" Maybe you can kiss me back to life or something" he let out laughing
" You're disgusting" you helped him up
" Stay put pedri I'll call your brother to come get you-"
" Don't you fucking dare do that" he said in a serious tone creeping you out a bit
" I'm sorry we're just not on good terms right now " he sat on your bed
" Well I don't care you need to leave pedri " you insisted
" I don't wanna leave you again " he said a bit sobered up
" What now you stopped being a football player and you're some sort of a fucking poet or some shit " you said almost yelling
Pedri just stared at you blankly without saying anything
"Truce?" He suggested reaching towards your hand
" Whatever that means " you briefly shook his hand
" Your house smells like alcohol tho"
" Because you stink pedri" you burst out laughing
" No it's not coming from me like it's the air you know " he giggled
" Well I had a party earlier " you sighed sitting on your red rocking chair
He looked at you confused
" What?" You sneered
" I mean you were never the party type of girl and-"
" I've always loved throwing parties at my house I just had a shitty boyfriend who prevented that you know" you shrugged rolling your eyes
He looked at you clearly offended
" What pedri? You literally hated all of my friends for no reason "
" I'm sure they hated me back tho"
" Not until recently " you mumbled
" Come lay down with me " pedri laid on your bed tapping the empty space next to you
You were genuinely asleep so you got up and laid next to him staring at the ceiling
" Why did you throw a party you were celebrating our break up or what" he chuckled laying his head on the right side of the bed staring at you
" Yeah apparently we celebrated differently tho" you chuckled
" What do you mean y/n?"
" Nothing goodnight " you turned to the other side pulling the sheets over your arms
Pedri immediately loomed closer to you softly brushing your hair with his fingers
" For once I wanted us to talk instead of fight our relationship felt like a war" he mumbled into your ear
" Why are we even having this conversation right now pedri" you closed your eyes taking in his touch
" Because I miss us "
" And I know you do too y/n"
" Don't speak on my behalf pedri"
" I know you doooo" he repeated pulling your body even closer to his
" Zoe told me you were seeing someone " you moved out of his grip and turned around to face him
" That's laura our nutritionist y/n " he giggled
" Well Gavi told her you're dating her" you stated a bit confused
" Because I told him I was"
" Pedri seriously " you sighed
" I didn't want to seem weak and vulnerable to anyone except for you " he confessed his fingers slightly touching with yours
" You're only vulnerable when you're drunk " you rolled your eyes
" Then take advantage of me and find out everything you're curious about " he said brushing his fingers over your hair
" That's stupid pedri I want you to be honest and sober we're not teenagers anymore or some shit " you said in an undertone
" You curse alot you know that" he flicked his finger on your forehead
You nodded exhausted
" But I love that about you"
" Pedri it's 2 am let's just sleep" you complained
" If you're tired sleep I'll just stay up and watch you" he smiled
" Well that's creepy pedri"
" No it's cute you're cute" he leaned closer kissing your forehead
" And you're drunk" you faintly let out your eyes almost shut
" I'm not that drunk anymore and you're cute " he admitted kissing your forehead over and over
You let out a long heavy sigh you've been holding from the moment he stepped into your house
" I miss us please tell me you do too" he questioned resting his forehead against yours
"I do" you whispered
" Let's talk about this tomorrow when you're sober okay? Now get the fuck off my bed and sleep on the couch"
