" I have loved her from the moment I saw her " pedri blurted out of nowhere
Making you almost choke on your food

You glanced at pedri who was obviously avoiding making eye contact with you
" Y-yeah it's going well actually it will be out next month " you sniffed
Apparently you caught a cold
Hours have passed and you two played the role well, perfectly well to the point where you couldn't put an end to it
His parents wanted to see you again and for some reason you just couldn't say no
You were now in the car with pedri who's driving you home

And as a pretty talkative person that silence was killing you so you decided to say something

" Uhm how did your mom know about my book ? I mean how did YOU even knew about that" You asked fiddling with your fingers
He didn't respond and remained fixating on the road
" Pedri what is wrong with you please don't tell me you think it's somehow my fault I was just going along-"

" We're here" he said pulling up at your house

" She knows about the book because I told her about you a while ago but I promise I didn't invite you Tonight to embarrass you or something it's just that Gavi said you'd be a better choice

" I can't believe you're about to publish a book with this level of stupidity " he chuckled
You scoffed pretending to be offended by his words

You froze in place staring at him with a flushed face
" That was tense" you two said at the same time which made you burst out laughing

On the inside you were technically begging for him to tell you to stay or something
