You were laying in your bed with your best friend Jada who's been on the phone with her boyfriend Gavi for hours now
" You technically begged me to hang out and now you've talking to your stupid boyfriend the whole time !" You scoffed
" Shh be quiet " she covered your mouth
You looked at her frowning in confusion
" What's wrong" you whispered
She just glared at you
" Don't worry baby we will come up with a solution together I promise, I'm gonna hung up now c you later muah"
And with that she hung up
You instantly smacked her hand away

" What on earth is happening-" you were about to scold her til you noticed her facial expressions
She seemed truly worried and the reckless Jada you know is rarely obviously worried unless it's really something serious
" Okay what's wrong what did that bitch say to you?" You sighed
" He's getting married " whe slightly whispered
" And we need to stop that oh my god "
" Jada are you talking to yourself plus WHAT Gavi is getting married???" You screamed instantly getting out of bed
" Y/n noo it's not him" she murmured slapping her own forehead
" Can you please say what's wrong girl I'm literally dying over here !!!" You demanded impatiently
" It's about pedri"
Your heart dropped
" W-what? He's getting married I didn't even know he had a girlfriend " you chukled
Pedri is Gavi's best friend and Gavi is your best friend's boyfriend so that's how you know pedri
You've been in each other's circle for over two years however you didn't speak much
You liked him though for a while but he's always seemed out of your league plus many rumours claim that he's into Instagram super models blondes and all of that stereotype people create mainly for football players and that was another reason for you to just let go of him
Hearing that he's getting married really caught you off guard since he never seemed like that type of guy who will marry someone he met months ago or something yet everything is possible
" Y/N ?! FOR FUCKS SAKE CAN YOU JUST FOCUS WITH ME HERE FOR A BIT!' Jada belted throwing her stuffed bunny at you
" S-sorry I just zoned out go on what is it " you faked a smile and sat next to her on the bed
" So you know how conservative pedri's family is "

" They've just been giving him shit about marriage and basically forcing him to come back home with a bride " she sighed
"Oh god " you gasped in disbelief
" And you know too that pedri loves his family more than anything and he just can't say no to them "
" Well he can just introduce his girlfriend" you shrugged
" Well that's the problem y/n he doesn't have a girlfriend and we need to find him one to act like they're engaged just so that his family leave him alone" Jada sighed exaggeratedly
" This was definitely Gavi's idea" you scoffed
Jada nodded hesitantly
" This whole plan is pointless he can just tell them he doesn't want to get married IT'S MARRIAGE we're talking about Jada they can't force him " you added
" Well he already lied and said he's introducing them to his fiancee " Jada bit her lips nervously

" I know I know it's just so messed up he's meeting his family at 7 and it's already 5 how on earth are we gonna find him a girlfriend in two hours " she sighed biting her nails anxiously
You stayed quiet because you didn't know how to help in situations like these so you just remained silent
" I have an idea tho" Jada smirked
" What?" You raised an eyebrow
" I have a very very good idea yn"
" Jada stop looking at me like that and tell me what it is already wait no-"
" Please y/n Please please please you're literally the only available option we have plus I already told Gavi you agreed " she looked down
" YOU DID WHAT?" Your jaw dropped
" I'm sorry okay but pedri matters more than anyone to Gavi and if I help him Gavi will be the happiest " she softly said rubbing your hand
" I know I should've asked for your permission but I know you would do anything to help me y/n "
" Stop gaslighting me Jada " you rolled your eyes
" It's a serious matter we're talking MARRIAGE over here "
" I know y/n but it's only gonna be for hours and then he's just gonna say you two didn't get along or you cheated or something " she chukled
" That's not funny " you glared at her
" Sorry but uhmm  do we have a deal now?" She looked at you with puppy eyes
" We do but if anything goes wrong it's all on you and Gavi I'm just saying" you pulled ur hands away from hers
She immediately jumped into your arms " thank you so much Me and Gavi have been a bit tense lately and if this works out I know things will get easier for us thank you y/n"
" Anytime , that's what friends are for " you delicately rubbed her back comforting her
" By the way Gavi and Pedri are on their way so let's get you ready "
{ Minutes later }
" Okay you really look a classy engaged bitch " Jada admitted with glossy eyes

" Please don't tell me you're tearing because of that god you really are hopeless! move"  you sighed and head to the bathroom to take a final look in the mirror
" Well maybe she's right I look like somebody's fiancee " you giggled
" I wish I was that to you pedri" you whispered to yourself
" OH MY GOD Y/N SNAP OUT OF IT " you strongly smacked your forehead
" Are you okay? Pedri is downstairs " Jada knocked on the bathroom door
" Y-yeah yeah I'll be out in a second "
You took some deep breaths and head downstairs to meet your fake future husband
" Thank you for doing this " Gavi smiled politely hugging you
" I'm glad I could help and you better fix whatever is going on between you and Jada " you whispered and broke the hug
" I'm gonna leave with Gavi now, good luck for tonight and I hope it ends well " she smiled briefly hugging you
" I promise I'll make it better" Gavi Whispered in your left ear and left with Jada
You were standing there in extreme awkwardness with Pedri
" Thank you for helping me I really appreciate it y/n " he blurted looking down
" It's nothing really it's just one night so don't worry " you smiled
" Yeah yeah it's nothing " he repeated
You looked at him confused
" Let's go now we don't want your parents to hate your fiancee already " you giggled dragging him outside with you
{ At the family dinner}
You have absolutely no right to say so but it's only been twenty minutes and Pedri's family are the sweetest to you to the point where You started to feel guilty
" So tell me how did you two meet?" Pedri's mom asked excitedly
You two didn't prepare a story to tell earlier and pedri looked like he was literally dying of nervousness so you decided to talk instead
" Uhm two years ago I went to watch a game with my friend I remember it was Barça playing against Sevilla my friend Jada was newly talking to  Gavi so she took me with her to the locker room and that's where we met " you smiled briefly
Pedri looked at you surprised because that's how the two of you actually met and apparently he was expecting you to tell a different story or something
" Looks like a movie scene " pedri's father laughed out
" So when did you know you were like in love and want yo spend the rest of your lives with each others" his mom curiously asked again with a smirk planted on her face
You were speechless and nothing came to your mind at that moment
