The next morning
You got up lazily to the sound of your alarm
" Here we go " you sighed in defeat
You took a shower and changed into one of your clean comfy pijamas
The party is gonna be held at night so you still had plenty of time to get ready
You decided to clean your apartment
You've been mourning for a while and simply stopped cleaning

While you were busy doing your chores Gavi called you
" Hey " you said out of breath
" Hi u good?" He said worriedly
" Yeah yeah m just cleaning , you know free therapy" you said joking
" Ah okay okay " he chuckled
" You're still going right"
" Obviously yes"
You can't help but feel like something's off it's almost like Gavi doesn't want you to go and not just because pedri's gonna be there but for something else
However you tried to be optimistic and not let such absurd thoughts get the best of you
" N-nothing just confirming, I'll pick you up at 5 then " Gavi said before hanging up
You took a deep breath and continue to clean up your room

{ Hours later } At 4 pm

" Oh my god m late" you said running to your closet
You unfroseenly took a three hours nap totally forgetting about going out
You rushed to your closet and started dressing up til you heard a car beeping outside of your apartment
" Oh dear God Gavi is gonna kill me " you murmured looking out of the window
Gavi got out of his car and yelled " why does your hair look like that it's not a Funeral!"
" SHUT UP I OVERSLEPT" you yelled back
" I'm coming up " gavi suggested

You quickly opened the door for him stumbling through your heels and many other stuff thrown on your bedroom floor
" Can you please zip me up?" You plead hopelessly
" S-sure" gavi stuttered
Gavi was trying to zip up your dress while you hurriedly did a light glowy makeup
" Done " he said slightly hitting
The back of your head
" Ouch " you groaned
" Take a seat don't just stay standing" you told gavi before grabbing your hair straightener to make it a bit naturally wavy

Minutes later you were finally ready
" How do I look?" You asked Gavi while looking at the mirror
" Normal" he mumbled
" WHAT WHAT DO YOU MEAN NORMAL !" you scolded him
" I mean pretty as usual now shut up and let's get going"
The two of you left your apartment and got into his car to head to pedri's parents house
You were scrolling through your Instagram nervously til Gavi spoke
" You seem tense "
" I am not it's just it's just a bit awkward I don't know I'm still adjusting your know " you said softly
" Healing takes time Y/N, so take your time " he reassured you
" Thank you really, thank you so much you're always there when I need you I just couldn't ask for a better true friend" you confessed friendly rubbing his shoulder

Minutes later you arrived at pedri's parents house
You were greeted by his mom hugging you like there's no tomorrow
" I knew you would show up" she Whispered in your ear
" I would never miss this Never " you whispered back
She dragged you inside excitedly
" You can stay here with my Friends I promise you they're old but fun " she said laughing
" Oh God I wouldn't mind "
You stayed with her friends and they were super sweet and funny
You felt at home again
Til pedri walked into the living room

Your heart started beating like crazy
You felt butterflies in your stomach just like you did the first time you met him however you played it cool and made sure you seemed unbothered
" Welcome guys" he said greeting his mom's friends
" Hey Y/N I didn't think you would make it " he chuckled
" Well if it wasn't for Gavi I wouldn't have made it " you replied
Pedri's face expressions suddenly shifted
" What do you mean?" He asked sitting next to you
" I-I mean I overslept and was already late if he didn't pick me I would've missed mama's birthday" you pouted
" Oh I see " he said coldly

{ An hour later }

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUUU" everyone screamed happily
" Gracias " mama said through happy tears
You guys were interrupted by someone knocking on the door
" I'm gonna get that " pedri said nervously
" No that's okay I will" you smiled at him and opened the door to meet a tall brunette whom you've never seen before
" Holaaa am I late?" She said
" Uhm m sorry who are you?" You asked politely
" Pedriii my looove" she screamed walking pass you to pedri whom you didn't realize was standing behind you
Seconds ago you were confused however ready to welcome the invited girl with a smile til you realized what this is all about
She called him love
She's a tall spanish brunette
Just his type and everything you're not
You just stood there not feeling your own legs
You could've passed out at any given minute
You felt extremely overwhelmed til Gavi quickly approached you
" W-who is this?" You asked shaking
Gavi seemed nervous like crazy and just stood there looking down
" Please don't tell me you knew about this please" you begged holding your tears
" I-I'm sorry Y/N I tried to convince you not to come I-"
"Save it you're all the same "
You said coldly walking past Gavi pedri and his new clingy girl

You went to the bathroom and locked it
" Oh my god why is this happening to me " you cried silently
You felt stupid hurt and mostly betrayed
" Y/N are u okay?" You heard pedri's mom asking through the door
You quickly wiped your tears and fixed your makeup
" Y-yeah Yeah I just got my period " you lied
" Okay we're waiting for you, take your time " she replied sweetly
Which means she doesn't know about this whole pathetic play her son and his best friend just pulled on you
You took deep breaths and went back to the living room sitting next to pedri's mom mostly avoiding Gavi

" Who are you?" Pedri's supposed girlfriend asked smiling sweetly at you
" I-I'm uhm-"
" She's my girlfriend" Gavi suddenly blurted
Everyone looked at him shocked
Pedri even choked on his own drink
You were about to get up and punch Gavi in the face but he somehow saved the situation so you were low-key thankful
" Yeah I'm Gavi's girlfriend" you repeated forcing a smile
" That's weird pedri never mentioned that to me " she protested
Before gavi could say anything you replied ironically " Pedri has always been clueless"
She just laughed it off
And you could feel pedri glaring at you piercing your wrecked soul
" I had no idea" pedri's mom whispered to you
" I know I love you please don't ever blame yourself" you comforted her
She just smiled lovingly at you
" Well now we're gonna head outside and leave you young people have fun " mama said getting up with her friends
" Oh where are-"
" Move on and don't ever look back " she said kissing your forehead
Pedri's girlfriend looked at you suspiciously " wow you two seem a bit close " she said awkwardly
" Y/N is my daughter" she firmly said
" And too bad I didn't get to meet you maybe another time " she added and left

The atmosphere was just beyond weird , the four of you were deadly silent
you decided to break that silence because it was just annoying at this point
" I'm going to the balcony for some fresh wanna join "
Pedri was about to say something but you added " Gavi let's get some air "
You told him faking a smile
You held his hand dragged him with you
{ Pedri's pov }
I'm speechless Y/N and Gavi have always been close but not THIS close plus why did they tell such a lie and why on earth is she pulling him to a balcony while holding his hand ?
My blood is boiling and Anita won't stop ranting about how the two of them are just a perfect match

You went out to the balcony because if you stayed in the same room with pedri you would kill him
" Can we please talk now?" Gavi asked holding both of your shoulders
