You've been friends with Liza since you were 5
You went through everything together
Even tho you two are completely different persons you somehow still manage to have an indisputable chemistry

Liza was the type of person who's always in a relationship
While you were never into that
The last time you liked someone was in kindergarten
But one-day it all shifted on a pretty large scale which made things hella awkward and tense between you and her boyfriend.

Tonight was Liza's birthday and per usual she was throwing a massive birthday party with hundreds of people whom you barely know
Among these people were Pedri her six months boyfriend
Pedri is probably the only boyfriend of liz that you genuinely like he's kind respectful and beyond understanding

You used to hang out alot til you didn't ~ ~~

{ Flashback to a month ago}

" Oh my god I will never get on a rollercoaster again " you said light headed
" Well Thanks to you I'm deaf now " pedri said slightly smacking your forehead
" If liz was here she would've passed out man" you said walking with pedri both of you trying to catch their breath
" Well I'm glad you're here instead" he confessed making you blush
You immediately pretended to tie your shoe laces so he doesn't notice you blushing
" Get over yourself Y/N " you thought to yourself
After hours of playing every single game and having the time of your life you finally decided to go back home

" It was a hell of a night oh god " you said smiling getting out of pedri's car
" This was the best night of my life " he said in a serious tone giving you goosebumps
" Aight goodnight" you said waving at him heading inside your house
After Pedri drove away
You went upstairs and took shower and got ready to go to bed only to received a facetime call from Liz
" Hey bestie" she said drunk
" Did you drink again ?" You sighed
" Juuuust a little bit" she laughed
" How was your night? Pedri probably felt lonely without me" she said pouting
" Y-yeah he kept ranting about how much he misses you" you lied faking a smile
" Well I'm already done with work so I'm gonna be back the day after tomorrow" she said smiling
" Okay c ya , stay safe " you said waving at her
" Nightyyy" she hung up

" God I didn't do anything wrong so why do I feel so much guilt" you questioned laying in bed staring blankly at the ceiling
And just when you were about to close your eyes and drift off to sleep you were interrupted by the sound of knocking on your front door
" Oh my god who could it be at such a late hour ?" You probed kinda scared
Your confusion and horror didn't last long when you heard a familiar voice calling
" Y/N it's me pedri"
" What?" Your eyes widened
You quickly went downstairs and opened the door for him
" Hey are you okay?" You asked him worriedly
" Yeah yeah I just forgot something " he said nervously
" What is it?" You asked frowning
He grabbed you by the face and kissed your lips as delicately as he could
The kiss was so gentle and full of unsaid confessions
At first you didn't react and just stood in place but seconds laters you shamelessly kissed back pulling him into your house
And you already know what happened next
{End of flashback}
After that night you and pedri hooked up every now and then, spend much more time together and discovered that you two have many things in common unlike him and Liz
However guilt was eating you alive and you just couldn't keep doing such thing behind your best friend's back
You tried to tell Liz many times and on many occasions however you never had the courage to really do plus pedri kept saying he would break up with her which made it harder for you to tell her .

{ Back to the tonight party}

" How do I look?" Liz asked excitedly twirling in her dress
" Amazing" you said softly smiling
" Red is pedri's favorite you're wearing red too tho you never liked it what's going on hmm" she teased
" U-uhm m trying new things hehe " you managed to say
While the two of you were talking pedri walked in
" Hey " he said
Liz immediately ran to him and hugged him
You just stared at the two of them
" Red looks gorgeous on you" he said looking at you
"Thank you baby" liz said thinking she's the one he was referring to
" I'm so happy to see you babe but I have to head downstairs to greet my guests " she said leaving you two alone in the room
" I-I'm gonna join her " you said walking past pedri
"Wait" he pinned you against the wall
" What are you doing!! People could walk in any second now " you said through gritted teeth

" Stop this madness she's my best friend!"
" She wasn't your best friend when you fucked me and snuck around with me for months hm?" He chukled
The moment he said that you harshly slapped his face and left the room
{Minutes later }
You found Liz in the dance floor after a while of searching
" I need to tell you something " you said hurriedly
" WHAT I CAN'T HEAR YOU " she screamed through the sound of music
" I said I need to-"
Suddenly the music stopped and everyone stopped dancing
Nobody knew what was going on til Liz Spotted pedri standing on a pub table
" Oh look it's Pedri" she said pointing at him with a wide smlie
The moment You saw her sincerely happy to see him you knew you truly messed up
Because it made you realize that she's in love with him too
However she has the right to while you didn't
You just stood there staring at pedri with great disappointment
" I hope you guys are having a good time because I'm definitely not "
Liz's smile almost faded
" I'm in love with someone " everyone around cheered looking at Liz who was still had a wide smile
You felt relieved that he didn't say something messed up but it didn't last long til he said
" I'm in love with Y/N , I always have but she doesn't wanna be with me because of her BeStFrIeNd" he added mocking you
Everyone's smile immediately dropped and liz instantly turned towards you
" Liz I-" you tried to somehow justify
But she roughly pushed you away and ran upstairs
You immediately ran after her but she locked the door so you couldn't get to her
" Liz please listen to me " you said through heavy tears
" I'm done listening to people's lies the moment I decided to truly fall in love with someone you ruined that for me !!" She yelled
" I know I'm sorry I just couldn't help it please Liz open the door I'm sure we can talk it out " you begged her crying even more
Pedri approached your fragile figure from behind
" I'm leaving the country for good I won't be back even if it's work related " he said in a dejected tone beginning to walk away
You couldn't process anything that was going on
But you knew deep inside that you don't want him completely out of your sight
"YOU MADE A BIG MESS AND NOW YOU'RE JUST LEAVING ME TO CLEAN IT UP ALL BY MYSELF" you yelled at his face angrily pushing his chest
" I love you" he said looking straight into your eyes
" And I don't wanna stay here if I'm just gonna see you and never be able to be with you " he added
You wanted to run to him and kiss him
You wanted to audaciously tell him that you loved him more
But you just couldn't
You caused enough damage already
" Okay then leave " you said looking down
" Can I at least hug you one last time ?" He asked hesitantly
" No. "
Liz opened the door behind you
" Wow a fairytale " she joked clapping her hands
" I'm leaving too , you two really do deserve each others, both selfish and inconsiderate" you chuckld walking away from the two of them
