You just wanted the pain to decease however it was just hopeless
It seemed as if you've been going around the same circle for a decade

You've been in denial for as long as you remember
You were mad at everyone and everything but mostly at the two of you
You thought of thousands of scenarios where this could've ended up differently and it only brought throbbing agony upon you
Yet you're still not familiar with acceptance

You've been dating pedri for a year it may seem like a short amount of time however it felt like a forever to you
A forever composed of dreadful memories now hunting you day and night
You were almost drown in by your thoughts til you heard your phone buzzing downstairs
The second you saw pedris number displayed on the screen you froze in place
You just stared at the phone ringing for seconds
Eventually you snapped out of it and didn't even realized that it stopped ringing
" He hasn't called before what if something happened !" you asked yourself
The moment you decided to call him back your phone started ringing again
You waited for a couple of secondsto pick up

You closed your eyes shut taking in the voice that you've been yearning for
" Hey" you managed to say softly
" I'm sorry for calling but if you may remember it's mama's birthday tomorrow and she wants you here per usual"
A wave of disappointment crashed your hopes and expectations
You thought he genuinely wanted to call you however he even apologized for that and seemed like he was forced to do so for the sake of his mom
" Oh Y-yeah I'm definitely coming I'll call her later goodbye" you added before he could say anything and hung up
" You need to move on " you sighed holding your head with both hands

You decided to call Gavi to vent a little bit
" Olaaaa " Gavi screamed excitedly
" Oh my ears! what's happening why u so happy?"
" I'm just glad you called you've been shutting me out for weeks Y/N " he whined
" I know and I'm sorry but I'm here now " you said apologetically

" I'm going to pedri's mom birthday" you blurted out of nowhere

" You're not a child and I'm not babysitting you I just wanna be by your side " he said firmly
You realized that you snapped at him for no reason he's the only person who's been with you through thick and thin and being rude to him was very unnecessary
" Okay let's go together see you tomorrow then" you said hanging up

{Hours later}

You went out shopping and bought Pedri's mom all of her favorites
" Ugh I'm so exhausted" you said as you entered your apartment
You prepared your outfit and Jewelry for tomorrow and laid in bed
There was a photo frame of you and pedri looking at each other's laughing like there's no tomorrow
You grabbed it touching it softly as if it could break at any given minute
" I think I will miss you forever" you said sniffling while tears welled from deep inside coursing down your cheeks
Minutes later you fell asleep desperately holding his memory
