As I followed Lin through out the halls she whispered to me
Lin: we'll have to go to the top that's where Yubaba lives...
I nod humming a small ok in response once we make it out of the hallway she looks left then right and gestures for me to follow I look around then up at the elevator system fascinated a lot of things right now are so cool and new to me but Lin breaks my trance by calling me over to an elevator
Lin: get over here!
I rush towards the elevator and she pushes a lever up making the elevator rise I hum to one summers day the theme song for the movie as we stand in the elevator
Lin: ya know-.. A lot of people might confuse you for someone else once they see you..! I almost did for a minute...
Me: you mean Chihiro?
She froze and tensed I'm the spot
Lin: you know her?!
Me: s-she was my ancestor before she died she told me stories about this place-!
I exclaimed trying to be less suspicious that I was from another universe who knew everything
Lin: so Chihiros dead huh..?
I only nod with a sad gaze to the floor
Lin: you seem a lot like her except more curious and amazed by all of this... You met Haku right?
I nod a small blush creeping onto my face
Lin: your gonna go home after all of this is over aren't you..?
Me: what-?! No! I was going to tell Yubaba to give my parents no memory of me and let me live in the bathhouse for the rest of my life...
Lin: are you kidding me?! You could be free just like Chihiro after all of this mess!
Me: that's the thing I'm not..! All we do is stay at the house more specifically me... And it's so boring there but here there are so many things and so much that I could discover maybe I'll even become a spirit myself!
Lin looks at me surprised then sighs
Lin: you really are something kid..!
Me: I know my dad used to tell me that a lot...
She only nods
Me: Lin?
She looks at me humming a response
Me: why didn't Kohaku leave... If he's free why didn't he leave..?
Lin: he said he had no where else to go and wanted to wait for Chihiro to come back.
Me: well it's true he doesn't have a home anymore... His river was destroyed and now there's only apartments there..!
Lin: Chihiro told you a lot didn't she?
I only nod
Me: I even saw no face...
Lin: oh don't tell me he's back-!
Me: no no this Kaonashi had a black mask and her body was white instead of black like Chihiro described..!
Lin: huh... So he isn't alone.
I only nod a small smile on my lips
Lin: how old are you anyways..?
Me: I'm 18!
Lin: well then you must know how to work...
I nodded with a big smile
Me: I don't mind hard work from time to time..!
Lin: you are way to optimistic kid.
I nod again with an even bigger smile finally we made it up to a higher level in the bathhouse as we exit the elevator we heard plates and the scratching of kitchen utensils scraping against some as they plate the food we sneak past them and into another elevator near by
Lin: we're almost there stay close...
I only nod and look out the shades near the elevator seeing millions of different spirits in baths just relaxing and having fun
Lin: here we go-..
She says only to gaps when seeing someone
Lin: the radish spirit!
He groans lowly pointing upwards with his long finger
Lin: sorry sir this elevator doesn't go any higher..!
She says and walks past him i walk close behind and he follows
Lin: don't look at him ok??
I nod and keep following her once we reach another elevator Lin shoves me behind her pressing me to the near by wall and presses the button when the door opens the spirits step out with a frog worker as he says
Frog worker: step out to the right please ladies... Your rooms are right this way..! Lin-?
He stops and looks back as Lin shoves me into the elevator next to the radish spirit
Lin: what?
She whined
Frog worker: what's that smell..? It's human, you smell just like a human-!
Lin: oh really?
Frog: where's it coming from lin come on... Your hiding something aren't you..? Show it to me~..
She rolled her eyes and got into her pocket pulling out the roasted nute
Lin: is what your smelling bug breath?
He starts drooling at the sight of the delicious treat
Frog worker: roasted... NUTE-!
He shots and tries to grab only for Lin to retract it up into the air
Lin: no way frog! I'm saving every last bite for myself..!
Frog worker: please just a little bit... Just give me a leg..!
He says reaching for the treat whimpering in the process Lin looks back at me and the radish spirit
Lin: if you want to go up pull the lever on your right!
The radish spirit only nods and I go to pull it and the elevator starts moving the whole ride was quiet until I started humming it's what made me relax in situations like the one I'm currently in the elevator soon stops and we look to see a hall way of screen doors apricots having fun their shadows showing that they are the spirit next to me only pulls the lever again and I start to him again looking up at him I smile he nods and looks back to the front of the elevator it soon stops again and I walk out into the hallway the radish spirit only peeks out from the elevator I see two doors colored burgundy red with gold accents and handle on my right I turn around to the radish spirit and bow in thanks to him he nods his head and pulls the lever again I slowly approached the door reaching for the handle but stop and I knock on the door the handle responds
Door handle: well you knocked you aren't so pathetic for a human...
Then the door opens and a bunch more open after it
Yubaba: well come in.
I heard Yubaba say and let out a sigh as I slowly enter through the hallways admiring all the art and antiques it held until I reached Yubaba's office
