It's was New Year's Eve. Rory and Logan had spent the weekend in New York City and were getting ready to go out for New Year's Eve.
"Ace, we gotta go" Logan shouted from the main area of their hotel suit
"I'm almost ready" Rory shouted back at him from the bedroom. She had her hair in loose curls down her back and she was wearing a black dress that she knew Logan would appreciate and black heels.

"Ok I'm ready" she said walking out of the bedroom
"Wow... Ace, you look...that dress is...wow" Logan stuttered
"You don't look too bad yourself there, mister Rory winked and gently smacked his chest and started to walk towards the door
"Hey, hey, hey come here" Logan grabbed her around the waist and pulled her in close, preventing her from walking away "where are you going?" He pressed his forehead against hers
"Didn't you say we had to go?"
"Did I?" He asked smirking "right now I'm thinking of activities that would be much more fun than going to a rooftop restaurant on New Year's Eve" he said softly kissing her neck
"As good as that sounds, we have reservations"
"Ok well then, I say we go to dinner and then come back here to continue this"
"Deal" Rory said grabbing Logan's hand and leading him out the door of their hotel suit

"Did you enjoy your dinner?" Logan asked Rory and they got in the car to head back to their hotel room
"Yes, thank you" Rory said
"Good, good" Logan said
The couple would get back to the hotel with just a few minutes to midnight. They would watch the fireworks from their hotel room balcony.
"Logan are you ok?" Rory asked
"Of course, why?" Logan asked
"Because you're shaking the whole car" Rory chuckled gesturing to Logan's shaking leg
"Oh sorry" logan said and he stopped shaking his leg "guess I'm just feeling restless" he smiled at her
"Mr Huntzberger, we've arrived" the driver said as they pulled up to the hotel
They went up to their room and Logan stopped in front of the door
"You planning on going in or are we sleeping in the hallway tonight?" Rory joked
"You open the door" Logan said handing Rory the key card
"O...k....?" Rory said taking the key from Logan, and opening the door
Rory opened the door to see red rose petals scattered all over the suit and candles lit everywhere.
"Oh, Logan" Rory gasped
Logan walked in and closed the door behind him as he and Rory made their way to the middle of the room.
"Rory" Logan said causing Rory to turn around and face him. Logan grabbed Rory's hands and got down on one knee
"Logan..." Rory gasped and put a hand over her mouth
"Ace, I have loved you since we stood on that tower and jumped together. I love you with everything that I have, everything that I am. You make me a better person and I never want to be without you. I will love you for the rest of my life. Lorelai Gilmore...Rory... my Ace, will you marry me?
