"Wow...I mean ...wow" Logan stuttered as Rory walked out of the bathroom wearing a knee length, royal blue cocktail dress with silver heels. Her hair in loose curls down her back and light makeup.
"You don't look too bad yourself mister" she said kissing him before walking into their closet to grab a silver clutch.
"Ok the car will be here in 5 minutes are you ready to go?" Logan asked
"Yup" she said looping her arm through Logan's that he had held out for her

"Wow" Rory said as she and Logan sat down in the car after Logan's company Christmas party

"I mean, what. The. Actual. Fuck?" Rory said slowly
"I know, I'm sorry" Logan groaned
"I mean he just wouldn't stop talking about it"
"I know, he's a sexist, misogynistic asshole who thinks women are property and gets talkative when he's drunk" Logan set leaning back and putting a hand over his eyes
"Whatever, it happened, it's over, and next time I'll be prepared" Rory said snuggling into Logan
"You'd come to another party after tonight?" Logan asked in shock, shifting so he could look Rory in the eyes
"For you?" Rory asked "anything"
"I love you Ace" he said as he kissed her
"I know" Rory said with a wink "I love you too"

"What kind of dress should I wear to your parents party?" Rory asked emerging from the closet
"Go naked for all I care" he responded coldly
"Logan..."
"I'm serious Ace. You were right, I have to go to this party but that doesn't mean I have to care about upholding my parents rirdiculous standards" he said getting up to put a few final things in his suitcase
"The red dress ok?" Rory asked knowing Logan liked that dress
"The red dress is great Ace" Logan said kissing her "now get it packed because we have to leave in 20 minutes"

"Hey Rory" Luke said running by with a crying Will

"Sorry kid" lorelai said "hi Logan"
"Hi lorelai" Logan said politely
"Mom what's going on?" Rory asked noticing the chaos going on around her
"He won't stop crying. And we both have work to do. And the house is a mess." Lorelai groaned
"Eesh" Rory said "want me to take him to the park or something so you and Luke can get your bearings?" She offered
"Please" Luke said walking into the room with a still crying Will
"Come here baby" Rory said softly talking Will from Luke. "Hi, why you so mad?" She cooed "Logan you wanna come with us,or stay here?" She picked up the diaper bag and put it in the stroller
