What if...?

Apartment hunting

"Hey Ace you ok?" Logan asked Rory as they sat at the gate waiting to board the plane to Washington DC

"Yeah, why?"

"Because your shaking the whole row of chairs" he chuckled

"Oh, sorry" she said and stopped a shaking her leg

"Nervous?"

"Just a little" she admitted "excited though"

"Good" he smiled at her

"Flight 421 to Washington DC is now boarding" they heard over the intercom

The got up and boarded the plane showing the get agent their boarding passes and found their seats.

"I'm so tired. Dinner with my grandparents was exhausting." She told Logan with a yawn

"Go to sleep Ace. I'll wake you when we land" he said kissing her on the cheek and pulling her close to him

She snuggled into his chest and drifted off

"Ace we landed"

"I slept the whole flight?" She asked

"Well it was only an hour and a half"

They got off the plane and headed to find the car that was waiting for them. They haven't checked luggage as they were only there for one night so they got out of the airport fairly quick.

They got to the hotel and went straight to bed, they had a long day ahead of them.

They walked into the first apartment following the real estate agent, Margret.

They walked through the door to see a huge open living space and kitchen.

"Hmm" Logan grumbled

"What?" Rory said looking confused

"It's different than the pictures" he said

"Yeah I know" Rory said crinkling her nose "I don't know if I like it so much now. But at should still look at the rest"

"Ok. Can we see the bedrooms?" Logan asked Margret

"Of course, follow me" she led them down the hall with the bedroom

Margret's phone rang as they entered the master bedroom " excuse me I have to take this. You guys keep looking" and she left the room

"So" Logan said "what do you think?"

"Honestly, I don't love it" she said bluntly

"Me neither" he agreed "should we go look at the other one?"

"Yeah"

They told Margret they weren't interested in the apartment and asked if they could see the other one.

They walked in the front door of a beautiful 2 story penthouse apartment. To the right of the door was a large coat closet and to the left a half bathroom. They walked past the door, and to the right was the door to the kitchen which had beautiful grey and white marble countertops and an island with matching marble, a sink and floating bar stools. They left the kitchen and walked into an open living space that had a wood burning fireplace and a glass sliding door that led to a balcony with a beautiful view of Washington DC and to the right of the glass door was the staircase.
Up the stairs was a long hallway on either side was a decent sized bedroom with a walk in closet, the bedrooms were pretty much mirror images of each other. Continuing down the hall on the left was the bathroom that had a long counter with a big sink, a toilet and a shower a little past the bathroom on the left was a small laundry room. On the right of the hallway was the master  bedroom with a large walk in closet that was big enough for Logan and Rory to share, an en suite bathroom with a shower, a jacuzzi tub, a large counter with 2 sinks, and a toilet. The bedroom also had enough room for a king size bed and 2 dressers and a glass door leading to a smaller balcony.

"Wow, this place is amazing" Rory said as she Logan and Margret walked back into the living room

"Do you guys want it?" Margret asked them

They exchanged a look before Logan spoke "yes, we do"

They filled out all the paperwork and the apartment was theirs. They got back to their hotel to park before heading to the airport.

"Ahh I'm so excited!" Rory exclaimed as she ran up to Logan and hugged him

"I know, me too!" He said wrapping his arms around her and squeezing her tight

"So when do you wanna move?" She asked

"What do you mean?"

"Well we could move right after my graduation or we could move closer to when I start working" Rory explained

"Oh, um...I guess somewhere in between" he said " you graduate in May, and start working mid august. So figure we could move late June early July?" Logan said

"Sounds good to me" Rory said kissing Logan before they picked up their bags and headed out to the airport

They were sitting on the plane Rory curled up in Logan's arms

"I love you Ace, you know that?"

"I had a feeling" she teased " I love you too Logan. I can't wait to start our lives together "
