"I can't believe what the fuck just happened, Alec is getting married tomorrow, and we ...."
I sat trying to calm my racing mind
"How will I face him tomorrow after all that has happened?" I say lying down and just trying to go to sleep without thinking anymore
I dozed off late in the night peacefully. The next thing I knew I was woken up by someone pulling my blanket I turned around and pulled it back "Five more minutes please" I groaned as I went back to sleep, but unfortunately having sleep and peace wasn't in my schedule today
"wake up sleepy-head" It was Jace, I hated being woken up, especially today
"Rise and shine sleeping beauty." I heard another voice and the blanket was ripped away from my grip.
"By the devil, if you guys disturb me for another second, I swear you won't get to see the day," I said covering my head with my pillow
"Well, I guess we can't let you sleep, get up it's the BIG DAY. It's finally happening" I heard Izzy squeal as I threw my pillow at them and covered my ears
"You two seriously have a death wish for getting me up at this hour" I declared seeing Izzy and Jace standing close to my bed with my blanket and pillow in hand which they dropped. My hair was a mess and my top revealed my bare skin as I fixed my hair and top and my eyes quickly diverted towards Alec
"Morning Sleeping Beauty," Jace said
"Shut up mockingbird, What's with you guys today and what is this big occasion?" I ask sitting up properly
"You seriously forgot today's occassion Veronica?" Izzy asked as I tilted my head in utter confusion "Alec's getting married today you dimwit!" she announced as my eyes widened in shock, I grazed back at Alec and found him leaning against my doorframe
"Congratulations Alec," I say as he responded with a nod
"Thank you, Veronica I-" he says and before he could continue I get hit by my pillow by none other Jace or should I say 'Headache'
"Don't just sit around we have a mission to solve," Jace said throwing my pillow back at me
"I'll solve the mission but before that, you're getting killed today," I said throwing around the pillow as he ran laughed. We chased each other around my room for a while
Alec laughed watching the scene as Alec got hit which was meant for Jace as we both froze staring at each other
"You're dead now" he said a smirk growing across his face as he entered my room with mischief staring down my soul as I took a few steps back
"I'm sorry, look it was meant for Jace not you" I explained to him as the distance began to shorten between us with his fast steps approaching
"I don't care," he said as Jace and Izzy left the room as I took a step back and ran to save myself from him, chasing me around the room we played for a while
"This isn't as easy it seems Denvers," he raised his brows watching my evey step like a hawk "and how is that?" I asked in anticipation
"I'll show you," he said as he started throwing all the pillows that were scattered in the room in a flash not giving me a chance to defend myself "not fair Lightwood" I replied pinning him to the wall as I hit for the last time
