𝑨𝑵𝑮𝑬𝑳 ~ 𝑨𝑳𝑬𝑪 𝑳𝑰𝑮𝑯𝑻𝑾𝑶𝑶𝑫

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

It was 8 in the morning and the alarm rang across the bed making Veronica awake.

Veronica switched the alarm off and went to take a warm shower to start her morning, after the shower she got changed and while going downstairs to the kitchen she saw the newspaper hung on the door handle she took it and kept it on the dining table she heard a voice coming from the kitchen

"Good Morning Veronica "

"Good Morning mom, how do you know It's me btw"

"I'm your mother Veronica, why wouldn't I and besides I just have 2 daughter's. One who is quite and the other one is like a speaker. So I know when it's you and when it's Emily."

Emily, Emily is my younger sister she is 7 years old. And is the most cutest in our family. While I inherited my dad's Hazel eyes and mom's smile. Emily inherited mom's black eyes and dad's smile.

We both may look a little similar on the outside but are different from the inside. I am the calm and quite one and she, she is like a loud mouth.

"So ready for the big day, because I'm quite ready," mom said with happiness growing all over her face which got me out of my thoughts.

"Hmm I am ready" I said walking over to the coffee machine to get some coffee.

"You don't seem so excited about your the first day of college on laat year what happened "

"Nothing it's just ....I wish dad was here with us then things would have been a little easier for all of us. You wouldn't have to go back and forth working and neither would I had to work in the cafe. Even though I love that cafe. I can't understand what was more important than us that dad left without even letting us know."

"You know honey, it's not about whether things go as you want them to be or not. It's about how you handle the things being thrown at you no matter what speed and time "

I smiled while she gave me one of those first-day pep talks, my mom Kara Danvers

She is a fashion designer working for Pastel and Peterson Co, she is amazing at her work. After dad left us mom never stopped working and giving us the best life with all she had

"I know, thanks mom" I hugged her and felt nice under her touch soon which was interrupted

"What is going on here " Emily came into the kitchen half asleep rubbing her eyes

"Hey morning Emily,"  I said lowering to her level

"Good morning Ronnie," she said smiling

"Well look what I made for breakfast" we both turned as mom said while placing plates in front of us

"Pancakes " Emily shouted happily grinning widely as she ran and hugged mom 

"I know you love pancakes, honey," mom said

"Well what are you waiting for," said Kara as she dug into her plate, after finishing breakfast Veronica placed the dishes and took her bag moving towards the living room as she called out to Kara

"Mom are you ready, you have a very important photo shoot to attend and a flight to catch right now. "

"I know honey, "Kara said walking into the living room wearing a light blue colored dress with heels

"You look, beautiful mom," Kara said while admiring her mom's outfit

"Well don't I always "she exclaimed as we both laughed

"Btw veronica "

"Yeah "

"Can you do me a favor "

"What is it mom,"  she asked while picking up her notebook
