Meeting The Others

I trained with Jace today I went in and saw him leaning against the wall smiling as he hugged him "Good to see you back on your feet" I grinned releasing the hug

"Me too" he chuckled as we went for a run near the area of the institute for an hour or so getting tired after a while we sat laughing as he was about to trip on a soda can and I couldn't stop laughing as I also tripped on one of those and landed on top of him

"Now who's the one saying me to watch my step," he said as I laughed

"Shut up, you're the one who distracted me," I said as we smiled getting up. Entering the institute and fighting about whose mistake it was while laughing Alec caught us together

"You were the one who did it first, if you hadn't said anything I wouldn't have fell," Jace said

"Oh, No-No I tripped because of you if you weren't acting so tired and lazy" I contradicted him as I imitated him and he scoffed as I laughed

Being rooted in our conversation he suddenly pulled me back "Watch out" I looked as a few others passed by me as we apologized and he let go of my waist nodding as I walked to my room and he walked over to Alec who had his eyes onto me since the moment I walked in

"You two seem close enough," he says watching over me

"Yeah, we just went on a run and tripped on each other on our way back because of some trash in our way," he said and then scoffed and laughed

"What about you? What are you working on?" Jace asked coming over

"Nothing just looking out for some activities," Alec said and closed the window and walked away from Jace

 I changed for moving out and closed the door of my room while going to the weaponry I bumped into someone as two strong hands grabbed me

"I'm sorry I didn't see," I said and looked up to see Alec

"It's okay, You off to somewhere?"

"Over to Magnus's to meet, some new family members, just wanted to tell Isabelle that,"

"It's okay no issues, You can go without telling anyone," he said as I smiled and nodded

"Btw are you okay? You don't seem to be your usual self after that demon thing, are you sure you're okay" I touched his shoulder as he looked at me and then backed away

"I-I'm okay, nothing to worry about," he said but I didn't want to burden him so I nodded and walked away

"Hey, I'm here," I said as I dropped into his house

"Veronica, how are you?" He came and hugged me asking

"A little nervous I suppose" I stated as he comforted me

"Don't worry today you're meeting just one person" he said as we moved across the living room

"You'll get to know soon," he created a portal and we were standing in front of the porch of someone's house. It was a nice white and brown color house with a white porch with plants on either side we went ahead and knocked on the door and a woman in her late 20s came out welcoming us in. We went in and I saw the house it was so beautiful on the inside and so well-maintained Magnus hugged the woman and introduced me

"Veronica meet Katniss and Katniss meet Veronica Denver," he said as the woman smiled and walked over to hug me

" It's lovely to finally meet you after so long," Katniss said as we all sat

"It's lovely to meet you too Katniss" I smiled sitting near her "Not to be rude but why are we here?" I asked looking at Magnus

"Well Katniss is quite one of the powerful witches in your coven, and she also happens to be your mother's friend" I looked back at her as she held my hands in her palms
