Chapter 8 - Finally Reunited

While aunt Alexa was preparing the papers for the dress..

Sophie and her friends thanked Ms. Alexa over and over, Ms. Alexa then told Sophie to come closer so that she could sign the papers.

Sophie wondered why there is a need to sign this much papers just to use the dress, she was only borrowing it for once, now she's like signing a whole pad of papers, Ms. Alexa said that she'll transport the dress tommorrow.

Ms. Alexa then gave Sophie a necklace because it came with the dress, Sophie was astounded by the necklace because it was so shiny and fancy.

Sophie was so thankful she then bowed her head to show her gratitude to Aunt Alexa.

As the three were escorted to the door they then said their goodbyes to Aunt. Alexa, "매우 감사합니다" said Sophie means "thank you so much".

Sophie then also said thank you to Emma and Olivia for helping her she then hugged each of them then the three said goodbye and went to their separate ways.

Sophie was heading home to her brother it was 4pm in the afternoon, her brother is probably gonna go nuts if she comes home late.

While Sophie was walking on the sidewalk she noticed someone quite familiar accross the road, she squinted her eyes to double check who the person was beside the lamp post and surprisingly it was Ethan.

"Hey! Watcha doing there?" Sophie shouted while walking towards Ethan, Ethan was surprised to see Sophie as she was crossing the road she smacked Ethan's shoulder "Ackk!, Hey! That hurts you know!" Ethan said Sophie laughed as she replied "Dimwit your so weak".

After that Ethan asked Sophie "So where exactly were you going?" While they were both on the opposite side of the lamp post "Home, I was just done picking my dress for the upcoming event" Sophie said.

"Just now? Pfft the upcoming event is gonna start tomorrow and you just picked your dress today?" Ethan said with a chuckled "Oh shut up, ive been so busy since this last couple of days" Sophie replied.

"Do you even know how to dance?" Ethan asked, Sophie didn't understand Ethan "What do you mean? Dance? No why?" She replied.

Ethan stared at Sophie with a blank face in a moment of silence.

"You're joking right?" Ethan suddenly said with one eyebrow raised "What do you mean joking? I'm serious." Sophie said in reply.

Ethan burst out laughing like there was a ghost tickling him non-stop "You're seriously going to prom not knowing how to dance!?" Ethan couldn't speak properly because of his laugh, "Don't tell me we have to dance!?" Sophie said with a worried expression on her face.

"Of course we are idiot! It's a prom event dancing is part of it" said Ethan while still laughing, Sophie started walking in circles worrying, "I can do this! I can do this!" Sophie kept on repeating those words, "pfft! You can't even do the simple steps!" Ethan said laughing.

Sophie got irritated with Ethan's words and his annoying laughter she picked up a random pebble and was about to throw it at Ethan, but Ethan started running, Sophie had no choice but to chase Ethan, people were staring at them like they were acting like a bunch of kids playing tag.

While Sophie was chasing Ethan she suddenly bumped into someone, Sophie rubbed her head and realized what she just did, she started apologizing for her childish acts, "The world is small after all huh, I never thought I could cross paths with you again." Sophie opened her eyes and looked at the person's face, she was stunned to see who it was..Luke.

Ethan was running towards Sophie "Hey! Are you ok?" He said Sophie was so stunned to see Luke's face since it had been awhile since she last saw him, "I'm so sorry sir for the inconvenience, and for my friend here.. we were just-" Ethan's sentence was stopped, " No no, theres no inconvenience here im just happy to see my old friend" Luke said with a warm smile on his face.
