Staring at more than 7 scorpion-like creatures hissing at me.
They are the size of an SUV car, most parts of its body looked like it was made out of tree bark, the back was covered with grass and a long tail with a large stinger at the end.
Forest Crawlers, nasty piece of shit. They are B-rank magic beasts with extremely hard exoskeleton and they are fast, aggressive and a drop of their venom is enough to kill a hunter within minutes.
Luckily for persistence, I am slightly immune to it.

Sitting down with my back against a tree after defeating the Forest Crawlers to catch my breath.
It is harder than I thought. I have never fought a B-rank creature but with persistence, 20% damage reduction, wolf slayer and battleborn, it makes things a little easier for me.
Resting enough, I got up to loot whatever I could put in my bag.
Looking at my ruined clothes, "I guess I need to get some new clothes..."
Funny thing is that I am unsure if there are any forms of civilization in the Red Gate. But there is no harm in exploring a little.
