yuki grumbled and rolled  over to her side, looking at xierra disappointedly.

"are you sure he didn't see the messages?"

xierra looked at her pitifully, tucking her hair behind her ear with a sigh.

"god. i'm gonna kill this bitch. his own girlfriend woke up from her three day coma and he doesn't even come to check on her? what the hell is wrong with him? even his members came and saw you!"

yuki shook her head.

"it's fine. i'm sure he had a reason. he was probably busy."

"even so! if he really fucking cared he would come and see you as soon as aiko messaged him this afternoon. i would do the same for heeseung in a heartbeat."

yuki sat up in bed.

"heeseung? your fake boyfriend?"

"fuck. donghyuk. i meant donghyuk."

donghyuk was aura's older brother, who aura had set her up with. after she'd seen her brother so happy with her best friend, aura was ecstatic and helped him ask xierra to be his girlfriend.

yuki had found out purely by accident. kirin almost found out as well, so xierra had to cover it up by pretending to date heeseung.

dating another idol was one thing. but dating aura's older brother? the members definitely wouldn't shut up about it.

"no you didn't"

"what are you talking about? of course i did. he's my boyfriend. and heeseung's just a stupid cover-up."

"xierra, it's obvious. you never talk about him like you do with heeseung. you never laugh with him like you do with heeseung. fucking aura sets up all of your dates. you like heeseung. why else would you make up such a stupid excuse just to date him? not only that, donghyuk's a cancer! you're a saggitarius!"

xierra bit her lip and stared at the ground.

"god. why am i such a people pleaser? i just didn't want to upset aura. or him, for that matter."

yuki reached out a weak hand to put on her shoulder.

"you're amazing xierra. but you need to be honest with him. donghyuk's kind, i'm he would rather you telling him the truth than living his relationship as a lie."

xierra nodded with a soft smile.

"i will. thank you, yuki."

yuki held her arms open for a hug, xierra leaning in and circling her arms around her waist.

"xierra?"

"mhm?"

"can you... sleep next to me?"

xierra smiled, running her fingers through yuki's soft hair.

"alright, you little baby."

she laid herself in the sheets beside her, pulling yuki to lay her head in her chest.

"look at us. two man-loving idiots. now we're both sad and heartbroken."

"that's the price you pay when you give men a chance."
