Chapter 55: Different Types of New Members + Cool Guy Comeback

"Can you stop speaking for me, please?" Crystal asked her sister.

"People should know!" Diamond replied.

"Not if I don't want them to." Crystal replied.

Woohyun cleared his throat to get their attention again.

"Sorry." Crystal apologized to him then finished her introduction. "As for an interesting fact about me, I guess that I've only been training for a year."

"We both have!" Diamond added.

Crystal rolled her eyes and stepped to the side, letting the last person go which was a male.

"Hello." The male bowed shyly. I couldn't help but smile. I always found the shy members adorable, whether they were older or younger than me. "My name is Kim Taeyong, I was born in 2002, I'm a dancer and vocalist mostly, and an interesting fact...well, I don't really have one..."

"How about that you were in YG before?" Irene suddenly asked, out loud for everyone to hear.

"You know him?!" I asked her.

She shrugged. "Not really. Just recognize him from the company."

Taeyong nodded. "I guess that's interesting yeah. I was on YG Treasure Box."

"Woah!" Daehyun exclaimed. "That's so cool!"

Taeyong just nodded. He was clearly the quiet type which made me snicker.

"Alright, that's it for introductions!" Woohyun clapped his hands.

"Time for pizza then!" JC exclaimed. "Right?!"

"Right!" Woohyun agreed, rubbing his hands together and licking his lips like he was excited.

And with that, we had pizza and enjoyed the get together with our new members. Ray and Jay really hit it off with the twins Diamond and Crystal, while I tried to get to know Taeyong. He didn't talk much so I did a lot of talking but that was okay with me.

-Wednesday, January 18, 2023~5:24PM-

~Zeke's POV~

We were taking a quick 5-minute break when Gohn sat down. I noticed him place his hand on his stomach. I walked over and sat down beside him, grabbing my bag as I did so.

"I was going to wait and give you these later but you seem like you need them now." I said, pulling a box of chocolate out of my bag. "Happy Anniversary babe."

"Awe~" Gohn said, happy to see them. "I thought the cheesecake in the fridge at the dorm was my present."

"That's for both of us." I confessed.

Gohn snickered. "Well your present from me is at home, sorry."

"That's okay." I said, putting my arm around him. "I don't care that much."

"Well I do." He said, popping a chocolate in his mouth. He then tried to feed me one and although I didn't want to ruin my diet, he was too cute for me to say no to so I let him slip it into my mouth.

"It's your anniversary today?" A.D asked, sitting in front of us as he gulped some water down.

We both nodded. He sighed. "Sorry you have to spend it practicing."

"It's okay." Gohn grinned. "We're still spending the day together and that's all that matters."

I looked down at him whose head was resting on my shoulder. I smiled down at him as he looked up at me.

"How long have you guys been together?" A.D asked.

"Since 2017." I replied.

"6 years?!" A.D exclaimed. He was so shocked. "That's even longer than Chewy and Gyutae! Wow! Congratulations!"

"Thanks." I blushed.

"How long have you and Pop been together?" Gohn asked him.

"It'll be 3 years this year." A.D smiled while looking down.

"That's not bad!" Gohn exclaimed.

"Yeah, I can't believe it'll already be three years." A.D said, reminiscing. "It seems like just last year is when we met."

"Time flies by when you're in love." Gohn said, looking up at me.

I rolled my eyes. "You sound like a weirdo."

"But I'm your weirdo!" He said, making a funny face. I couldn't help but laugh. He was always so cute to me.

"That's it!" A.D exclaimed. "We're ending practice early!"

"Why?" I asked him.

"So you guys can go out and enjoy your anniversary together." A.D said.

"Can you do that?" Gohn asked, wondering if the male had that kind of power.

"Pfft." A.D scoffed as he stood up. "I've been here since the beginning, remember?"

And with that, A.D made his way over to our choreographer Jinyoung. We watched as they exchanged words and before we knew it, practice was over. We thanked A.D and went out for dinner just us two; we did repay him with some cheesecake later though.

-Monday, February 27, 2023~5:59PM-

~Lìxìn's POV~

We were all gathered in the practice room, watching the clock tick.

"I can't believe I'm actually about to debut again." I said.

"You and us both." Zeke said to me, referring to him and Gohn who have also debuted before.

"Are we the only ones who haven't debuted before?" Jay asked, referring to his brother and him.

"Yup." A.D nodded.

"I just hope this isn't my only RC group I'm apart of." I looked down.

"It won't be." A.D placed a hand on my shoulder. "I promise."

I looked at him and smiled. That's when James announced that it was 6:00. That meant our music video was posted. Everyone grew quiet and we all watched together. The reactions were great, everyone reacting at our 'cool guy' theme where we protected a girl. Even though half of us were gay, we were still able to act it well and it made for a great drama-like music video that everyone enjoyed. As for us, we were just excited to promote the song.
