Maya's pov

Hey I'm Maya. A doctor. It was my dream to become a doctor. I'm glad I did it. Now I'm working in a famous hospital . My teacher Dr. Ravi is always with me for guiding. It made me proud everytime when I see patients come to me to reduce their pain. The happiness when they relieved can't express through words.

Today is saturday, so my shift is going to end soon. I want to reach my in laws house today. Today is wedding anniversary of Arjun's parent. As elder daughter in law I want to make sure that everything is perfectly alright. Akshara, my daughter is there with them already. I dropped her morning on the way to hospital.

I, arjun, akshara live separately after our marriage. I love to live in my inlaws house. But due to our office shifts and all we shifted here. Arjun is very strict in his office commitments. Nowadays he is very busy at all. I hope he come early today. I already sent his party wear to his office, maybe it helps to reach him fast there.

I reached home on time I'm happy to see everyone. Only close relatives are present here. Once I reached there I check all thr arrangements. Everything is perfectly fine. It's already 7 pm everyone arrived expect arjun . Where is he? Everyone is asking me questions. I'm tired of answering them. Akshu is busy with other kids. For the past one hour I'm calling my husband. But he is not attending my call.

At last I told arjuns mother"mamma, I think arjun is busy in office. Maybe he come later. Let's cut the cake"

I can see sadness spreading in her face. Later she agreed. Some aunties are passing comments. I don't want mamma to listen any of these that's why I decided to cut the cake.

I can hear some of them saying"Where is Arjun? Is he not coming. I think something is wrong. Maybe married life changed him"

Really.. I just ignore tell. But I really wanted talk to him

Aksu came near me and asked"Mama where is papa? He promised me that he will come early. "

I don't know what to tell her. Aksu is papa's girl. She loves him more than anything. If they are together they even didn't bother about me. Aksu also don't like me coming when they are together. They always had there own time. Maybe I will talk about this later

Now let's celebrate the wedding anniversary of the most loving couple....

Dad is talking about there old times. Mamma is blushing whenever dad talk about her. Such a lovely couple. Aren't they? I just wish I want to see them my life long. God gifted me such a good family.

Abhay was flirting with a girl. He is my brother in law. He is a handsome guy with a infectious smile. He is very talkative just like me. That's why we bond fastly. We are like siblings. More than that he is my friend too. When he saw me sad he come towards me.

"Hey maya, what happened? "

"Nothing yaar"

"Its my brother,right?"

"I don't know where is he? "

"He is not responding to my calls. Can't he sent a message.here I'm worrying about him."

"Let him come, we can break his bones. Or let me kill him after that i will marry you, How is it? "

He always does this. He always jokes in serious discussion. He won't learn.

"Let me tell your brother about your proposal once he come"

"Oh, please i dont want to get beaten up"

Guests are leaving. Akshu also get tired. I managed to get her sleep. After that I instructed maids to clean the mess. I don't like mess. I always want everything in place.

I once again try to call him. But no response. It's become his routine to not answering my calls. Not only mine whole family's. Last time i become hell worried about him when he was not responding my calls. I called every friend of his. But they don't have any idea. Then he comes at 3.30am. He had to attend a clients call that time. Now it become his habit.

But today he missed his parents special day. I want to talk to him.

Suddenly the door opens. Here comes my husband...
