The Voice

Chapter 1

Ariana's POV

Finally, today is the day that I am waiting for. I have waited for this moment since 2011. I started to watch The Voice since its first season. Since that day, I swore to myself that I wanted to join the competition. In these four years, I've worked so hard, I sang every day to improve myself and achieve my dream. All of my friends encourage me to sing, they say I have an angelic voice and my voice will impress the judges. Now and also today, I am going to sing in front of four judges, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Justin Bieber. I wanted Pharrell William to be my coach so badly, but he was focusing on his new album and his upcoming tour, so he chose to leave The Voice for this season, Season 9.

Basically, today is the audition day. Honestly, I am a Belieber too, since Pharrell is not here so I hope Justin turns his chair for me. Justin is still a new judge there, so it means he will replace Pharrell for this season. Anyway, I will try my best to sing to impress the judges.

"Ariana! Ariana! Let's go!" My mom shouted from the first floor. I was in my bedroom to try my outfit. I'd done my make up, a light make up is more suitable for me, and my hairstyle is like usual, a ponytail. Now, I am just trying to change into something more comfortable and look better for me. Finally, I decided one, a light purple dress (the photo shown) and ya, I wore a safety pants as well, you know just for safe.

"Mom! I am done." I shouted and dashed into my living room. "Wow! Look at my pretty little princess. You are so cute." My mom hugged me and greeted me. I hugged her back and said "Mom, I love you too.".

Frankie appeared behind me and pulled me away from the hug, he shouted excitedly "Oh my gosh, my sister is going to be a superstar. I am going to meet Justin Bieber.". I laughed at his reaction, he's so funny and he's really a supportive brother, I love him so much. "C'mon Frankie, I am still here. Don't think too much. Besides, I don't know whether will I get through the blind audition." I told him. He laughed and shouted "Yes, you can because you are Ariana Grande.". My mom laughed at us "You both are so cute. Now let's go.". We nodded and hopped into the car.

I sat at the passenger seat and Frankie was driving. I felt so nervous or maybe anxious, my heartbeat was so fast and I couldn't breathe properly, I kept reminding myself "C'mon Ariana, take it easy.". On the way to there, I received a lot of good luck texts from my friends, Jennette Mccurdy, Elizabeth Gillies, Matt and many more. They are my high school friends and classmates as well. They gave me a lot of support and I really appreciated them.

After that, I got a text from my boyfriend, Nathan Sykes. A big smile appeared on my face and I smiled like an idiot.

Hi, babe, good luck for today audition. I am sorry that I can't make it on time, but I will be there when you are singing. Just take it easy, be yourself and more confident, you will do it. ;) <3

He's really a very nice guy, he loves me so much. We had the same dream, hope to have our singing career. Recently, he's a male singer, even though he's not famous yet but he got the potential, I think that he will be a successful singer.

I locked my phone and tried to rest my mind. I kept whispering the song in my mouth. I am really happy that at least I got the courage to try to achieve my dream. No matter what's the result, I am beyond proud of myself.

After about one hour of drive, we reached there, the building was huge and so amazing. I inhaled and exhaled a deep breathe before walked into the building. My mom kept patting on my back because it's obvious that I am nervous. We saw a lot of competitors inside there, but I don't know any of them. Some of them wearing the earphones to listen music, some are talking with their family and some are sitting alone.
