Steve never really had a childhood, parents were never there so he didn't know what a 'good' childhood was supposed to be. That was until Nancy and Jonathan stepped in and showed him.
Set in Modern times.
"Ok, stay there we need a jacket on" Nancy gently grabs his wrist to stop him from going.
"Mama" Steve whined as he threw his head back slightly.
"I know baby, almost done" she says as she helped him put his grey jacket on.

"No shoes?" Jonathan asks.
"It's a bit of a drive, didn't think he'd want to wear any"
"True"
"We ready? Let's go say bye to everyone" they say their goodbyes before bundling up in the car and heading off to their first family trip out. Nancy managed to keep Steve distracted and occupied until about lunch time.
"Dadas gonna pull over and then we'll have some lunch, ok?" Jonathan pulls into a service station and parks up. Nancy let's Steve out of his seat and they eat lunch in the car.
"Want this?" Jonathan offers Steve's cup to him.

Steve silently takes it before drinking from it.
"Right, let's go stretch for a minute then back in the car" the three of them get out, walk around and do a quick nappy change. They soon get back in the car and carry on.
"Dada? Near'y dare" Steve whines as he rubs at his eye.
"Almost baby, dada promises" Nancy clips a dummy to Steve's shirt before popping the dummy in his mouth and giving him his cloth to go to sleep with.
