Steve never really had a childhood, parents were never there so he didn't know what a 'good' childhood was supposed to be. That was until Nancy and Jonathan stepped in and showed him.
Set in Modern times.
Today was the day that Nancy and Jonathan were sorting the basement out. It had already been emptied, stripped and re painted, all they had to do was add some furniture and toys.
"Ok you, are you gonna stay with nana?" Steve had warmed up to Karen and Ted and they adored him just as much.
"Nana" Steve runs up to her and hugs her.
"Hi baby" she kisses the top of his head. At the minute, he was dressed in a white short sleeve bodysuit, a pair of navy blue joggers, a white animal shirt and a pair of beige/colourful socks.

Nancy and Jonathan get to work on the basement. They were basically making it into some sort of playroom but also so the boys could still do their DND nights. They could hear Steve giggling from upstairs whilst they sorted out.
"He's so cute, I'm glad he finally accepted our help" Nancy says.
"I know me too" they kiss each other before getting back on with the room. Jonathan sets up a monitor so they can always keep an eye on Steve although it's not like both of them would leave him by himself anyway, it was more of a precaution incase that did ever happen.
"Nancy, Steve's fallen asleep, not sure if either of you want to take him up to bed or leave him on the sofa" Karen calls from the top of the basement stairs. They wanted to get into some sort of routine but Steve keeps napping between 1:00-4:00pm for a good hour, they always made sure he didn't sleep past 5:00 because then they would be in trouble when it came to bedtime.
