"Well we can't free them then," their leader said as I got angry on seeing Alec and suddenly my eyes changed colour

"You guys have some nerve showing up at my doorstep in the first place and then threatening me and my friends here. Without even knowing what you're doing. Leave him at once or else." I demanded
"Or else what girl? what're you and your little friend there gonna do?" The guys asked
I closed my eyes in anger and spotted the fire inside of me again and as I was getting angry for their suffering my rage grew more strong and I heard Izzy say out loud "Veronica, your hand" but I was still focused on the anger and then heard Alec call out to me after getting the guy tackled to the ground as now he was under Alec's grip
"Your hand, you might get hurt from it." He remarked as I felt warmth on both my hands and as I opened my eyes I saw flames rising but they weren't hurting me, they were coming out from me and growing
As I observed those flames I looked over to the guys and looked at the guy who had kept Alec held under his blade. "Now if you don't wanna burn in this fire then you'll leave from here at once," I demanded
"Oh come on, these are just stupid games. That thing is not real you're just trying to get us into thinking that, that thing is real so that we can leave from here." The guy said
"Well then, be my guest," I said as I burst out those flames at one of the guys the fire caught him and started shouting and trying to dismiss the fire that he had gotten caught in. As the others saw that they left Alec and moved back trying to save that guy from the fire my hands kept on flowing and so did my anger with it.
"Are you okay?" I rushed to Alec looking at his wound and concerned about the trouble he got in
"Alec, you okay?" Izzy said
"Yeah, I'm okay." He said as he looked over at me while I still had eyes on the guys to be prepared for something.
"Veronica..." Alec called as I looked at him and he was worried seeing my eyes and a little uncomfortable as he had never seen eyes like these before.
"Don't worry," I assured him and looked back as the leader spoke
"I wouldn't have done that if I was in your place" he asserted
"And why is that? Worried you might get yourselves killed before you even start fighting." I said
"No, because I wouldn't want to see this girl here getting hurt," he brought up his phone and played a video in which I saw Emily and I stepped back in shock
"Emily... you, you guys did not..." I was shocked as all of us watched the video call.
I called out to her as the guy quickly moved the camera away and the guy on the side cut the call I couldn't stop the anger flowing inside of me seeing her
