Mother of the Groom to be - "My son is tall, and your daughter's height is below average, and she also wears spectacles."

Mother of the Bride to be - "Yes, so?"

Mother of the Groom to be - "I'll be honest with you. These are all negative aspects. I mean I may ignore the height part, but specs? Don't take me wrong, but people will talk. How is her eyesight without it anyway?"

Mother of Bride to be - "Very well. Thank you for your time."

Mother of the Groom to be - "No offense, I just mean your daughter must use certain eye lubricants, or droppers on a daily basis. And it will be on my son after marriage to take care of his wife's medical needs. So you understand why I'm so concerned. I don't want him to feel burdened. By the way, can she see well?"
