Bride to be - "I do not wish to live with your family. If we get married, we live separately."

Groom to be - "But my mother is all I have. Where would she go?"

Bride to be - "I don't know. If I could leave my family to live with you, surely you could do the same."

Groom to be - "But, I can't leave my mother to suffer just because you don't wish to live with her."

Bride to be - "I can't leave my mother to suffer either just because society wouldn't allow her to live with us."
