plot :
with the help of debbie, fiona, veronica, and tammy, mickey surprises ian with a mini vacation.

debbies phone screen lit up the dim room she was sitting in, the light reflecting off of the ceiling as it vibrated against the table.
mickey
"need your help asap." 10:48pm
debbies eyebrow raised in confusion as she read the text, mickey was extremely unpredictable. he could either be asking you to help him deal drugs, rob a bank, murder somebody, or a picture of the grocery list.
debs
"its late at night, what could you possibly need help with at this hour?" 10:50pm
mickey
"a plan." 10:50pm
debbie rolled her eyes sighing heavily as she did so.
debs
"i'm not helping you do whatever criminal activity you're doing. being listed as a pedophile is bad enough." 10:52pm
typing bubbles appeared and then they dissapeared. eventually they never came back, leaving debbie on read, she shrugged.
just as she was about to set down her phone, the screen lit up again but this time mickey had sent her a little paragraph. he was really adamant on doing whatever he needed help with.
mickey
"nobodys going to prison debbie and i'm not doing criminal activity. i need help planning a mini vacation for your brother, ya know? like a little get away. svetlanas been putting the pressure of taking care of yevgeny on us and i can tell hes stressed out, he needs a break." 11:01pm
debbies lips slowly formed into a small smile as she read it, not only was she shocked that it actually wasn't something bad, but mickey showing his soft side was a surprising thing.
debs
"okay where do i come in at? booking a hotel at a place he'd enjoy is really not that hard." 11:05pm
mickey
"i'm not the cute romantic type.. i need pointers on what i should do. i need to do more than just book us a hotel somewhere, i need to make this special for him." 11:06pm
debs
"well first you could make a reservation at a restaurant, get him flowers.. spoil him really. i'm sure you don't need to over do it, ians pretty much satisfied with everything you do." 11:09pm
mickey looked over at ian who was asleep right next to him, all sprawled out on his stomach, hugging the pillow as his face sunk into it. he smiled, despite debbies advice, mickey knew he needed to go all out.
ian always does everything in his power to make mickey happy, he was a romantic freak in his husbands words. the redhead deserved this more than anything, hes worked so hard on taking his meds, keeping a job, and taking care of a child who wasn't even his own.
ian always did everything for everyone else, always taking care of them and putting them before himself. it was time ian be taken care of and cared for.
mickey
"fionas gonna help me figure out a way to surprise him. i'm gonna talk to his boss tomorrow and get him those days off, you, tami, and veronica are in charge of helping me with ideas." 11:15pm
