Jimmy's Perspective-

"Night Jimmy. And don't worry, everything will be fine. And Scott will be fine."

Jimmy's dad then kissed him goodnight and left.

Lizzie walked in after him and sat on Jimmy's bed.

"How was your date?" She asked.

Jimmy death stared her, "I'm tryna sleep!"

"Yeah, well you came home with him, and I haven't had a chance to ask you without making Scott uncomfortable."

"But now you're making ME uncomfortable!"

Lizzie rolled her eyes, "Better tell me or I'll ask Scott how your date was."

"Fine." Jimmy said grumpily.

He hated it when Lizzie did this.

"We got our drinks then did some Christmas gift shopping. It was fun. And now I have a general idea of what to get Scott for Christmas."

"Ohh what?"

"Something cyan, poppies, and deer. He really likes deer; I think it's his favorite animal."

Lizzie nodded, "I already got presents for all of my friends. I just have to wrap Joel's."

"What'd you get him?"

"A textbook."

"A what?!"

Lizzie cracked up, "It's a textbook about photography. Joel's getting into taking pictures and cameras and stuff like that. So, I got him a book about it. It's like photography for beginners or something."

"Oh... that's cool." Jimmy turned over in his bed, facing the wall.

"I love you, Jimmy. I'm glad your date went well." Lizzie hugged Jimmy and left.

-

Jimmy awoke in the morning feeling well rested.

He yawned and stretched as he got up from his bed.

"Morning Jim." Scott greeted him.

"Morning Liz." Jimmy said, not thinking twice.

Scott laughed.

Jimmy then realized his mistake, "Scott! I meant Scott!"

Scott continued to laugh, "It's okay! It was cute!"

Jimmy turned bright red.

He just called me cute.

"I should've known Liz was still asleep, she always is on Sunday's."

Scott nodded and continued to eat a bagel.

"Shoot did you need help finding everything?"

Scott shook his head, "Nah I figured it out. I almost asked for help, but I didn't want to wake anyone."

"You could've woken me up, I would've been fine with it!" Jimmy smiled.

Scott smiled his sweet and loving smile back at Jimmy.

They stared silently at each other, taking in the moment.

Suddenly, Scott's phone rang.

"Hello?" He picked it up.

Jimmy started pouring himself a bowl of cereal.

"Is it?" Scott looked out the window.

Wonder who he's talking to.
