I Do and I Don't

We had our first snowfall which meant it was colder then ever in the abbey so I mainly spent most of my time in the basement because Dew was down there and he was incredibly warm. Dew however wasn't the only reason I was down in the basement. Me and Rain hung around every day after he got off patrol (which I stayed with him for). Swiss had started getting annoyed with how much we had been hanging out and had been bugging Rain about it because he would only show up to dinner and band practice. Rain had been telling me about the multi ghoul and how he was getting more on edge and snappy these past couple of days. There was another attack that Swiss thankfully stopped but that's why we think he's been on edge because he was acting fine just before it. He used to come to my room regularly because he was now incredibly invested in what me and Rain do and before they would go on patrol we would all hang out. Swiss now never comes to my room and every time we try to hang out with him he makes up some dumb excuse and runs off to his room. I heard him mumbling to himself once in his room about some "plan" and "the next time they strike". One time I just walked right up to him and he looked at me with such sorrow and guilt that he just ran off. It was infuriating because him and Rain were the closest friends I had and now he's just running away. Rain isn't happy about this either. He's been saying that Swiss has been ignoring everyone in the basement except for two other ghouls that I didn't know the names of although those conversations were apparently very short.

I finished my chores and told Rain that I was going to try and talk to Swiss.

"Good luck all I get from him are just random grunts." Rain sighed. I just have a small nod before I ran off to the basement.

The basement hall was wet and cold. It sent a shiver down my spine as I placed my hand on the cold black metal railing as I walked down my hand grazed the handle. I was still in my uniform but my new gloves that I had gotten for Christmas were in my pocket.

I walked into the ghouls common room and walked down the hall to Swiss's room. I gave three short knocks before I heard some grumbling and what sounded like papers being pushed off a desk. Then I heard Swiss slugging his way to the door his feet dragging on the carpet. He opened the door and just stared at me the closed the door in my face. Angrily I let out a huff and knocked again. He opened it to see me looking up at him.

"(Y/n) what do you want." He tried to sound normal but clearly there was something bothering him. I pulled out my phone.

What's wrong with you. We all miss you and you keep ignoring us.

"Satanas can you just go away! I'm fine." He argued and began to yell. "You are always trying to get into other people's business! No wonder they all stopped hanging out with you! You probably still think it's because they hate us ghouls but it's because you just show up into random friend groups and make yourself apart of them! I mean you can't even talk for fucks sakes!" He yelled and threw his hands in the air. My eyes began to feel wet as I looked at the ghoul in front of me. "Rain doesn't actually like you he just feels bad that no one else talks to you. He's always been like that, I mean think of the last time you two hung out where you weren't the one inciting it. You're always with him and I can just see how uncomfortable he is when you hangout with him!" He kept going. My head hurt there was a loud thumping in it as I tried to suppress the tears that began to fall. Swiss wasn't wrong I was always going to him to hangout he never came to me. I began to feel my heart shatter and I felt like I couldn't breathe like I was being crushed by a hundred rocks while being pushed around by overlapping wave's because I couldn't even hear him yell anymore as I was shaking. I put my phone in my pocket and ran to my room. I just barely heard the click of his door as I ran out of the common room up the stairs.

I made it back to my room and just sat in the shower with the water on the hottest setting as I sat under it. I found myself yet again scratching at my arms. They were almost healed with barely any scarring but now that I'm clawing at them again they will probably scare. I didn't care though I needed to let the pain out. I closed my eyes at the burning water that now mixed with the blood hurt but I was to distracted with the mental pain in my head that I could barely tell. I chocked out a sob as I opened my eyes again to see blood mixing with the water making it look like there was a lot more blood then there was. I sniffled again looking down then noticed blood coming out of my nose. I panicked because like last time it wasn't dark out it had to be just after lunch. I tried to get up but I felt like I was going to pass out so I just kinda threw myself over the tub which was still covered in blood. I tried to turn the water off or jump put it to a cooler setting so I could relax myself because someone was bound to catch the vampire that was near by. I shuttered as my naked body felt the cool tile as I reached up to the tower rack to grab a black towel. I then heard a loud banging. My head snapped to look at the door and I saw a pale man who looked like he could be the same hight as Rain but he didn't have a mask and he had long wavy golden hair and red eyes. Behind him I saw Swiss with panicked stance looking at the vampire in front of him. I was to scared and confused to care that I was currently naked in front of two men.

"Ah we meet again (Y/n). It's been to long." The vampire knelt down next to me his fangs grazing my neck. I looked up at Swiss for help but he just stood there.

"H... help!" I squeaked out pathetically to the ghoul that just stood there.

"I didn't know you could talk now. I will fix that later." He whispered to himself as he placed his fangs along my neck using his left hand to hold the other side of my face. "You'll be up soon enough." He then looked at Swiss detaching his face from my neck. "Thank you Swiss you were much help. I'll go now." He waved at the ghoul.

"G... glad I could help Azalea." Swiss gulped as Azalea's fangs made it back to my neck and made a puncture. Swiss mouthed a quick 'I'm sorry' as I felt life fall from my grasp.
