A blizzard of cold threatens our domain
The sun submerges behind a thick fog veiling all warmth from our health
The burning hope within resists the cold's call to reign
Yet through cracks and holes, the winter stealths
Sneaking past our highest walls and our strongest barriers
Avoid the negativity of the world while it bares on our shoulders
May your heart stay warm, or risk being winter's carrier
Keeping the sun's warmth inside our soul is our goal as we get older
Bunker your heart, ignore winter's nipping whispers, and burn throughout the night
Stay alive, stay alive, don't let the cold take you without a fight
Don't let love hibernate or risk blinding your world with hate
Promising to numb you from pain is winter's greatest bait
A deluge of sorrow washing over you doesn't cleanse the past
Rise and conquer your fears, you're stronger than you feel
Winter air may cut, but your will is made of sturdy steel
Prepare, prepare for winter's attacks so your heart doesn't collapse
Our hearts together can challenge the silent avalanche
