3RD PERSON POV:TIMESKIP: Years have passed since the Calamity event. The damage done to the everyone was severe, but the siblings where hit the hardest specifically Kai. Jiyoung had taken the siblings into her care as a request from Cha Hae-in before her passing, something she upheld. However she couldn't stop Kai from moving away and on his own, were he became an underground fighter, legal or illegal he fought, which brings us to now. A now fifteen Kai is seen walking out his apartment in a school uniform, as the boy looks up to the clear sky

Kai:what a drag...

He says to himself and makes his way to school and comes across a close friend of his Annie

Annie:jeez, you look more brooding than usual

She says as the boy sighs

Kai:couldn't sleep last night. And your one to talk

He says as the two begin to walk together a slight height difference between the two

Annie:more nightmares?

She says only to receive silence from him, getting her answer Annie sighs and pushes her hair back before dropping her hand to her sides

Annie:your meds? Have you been taking them?

Kai:....

Annie let's out a frustrated sigh as the two stay in a comfortable silence as they hear the news on radios and TV's

Annie:what the hell is going happen now that Hunters are becoming a thing?

Kai:I don't know, but if that means we can get more money I'm all for it

He says as they stand at the schools gates as Annie ruffles his hair affectionately

Annie:see ya later, bud

She says and walks of as the hybrid grumbles while fixing his hair and heads to class

SMOL TIMESKIP: Kai makes it to his classroom as most girls fawn over him as he makes it to his seat and lays on his arms to sleep as their teacher enters

Teacher:alright class. Today we'll be having a new student joining us today

He says as a girl with brown hair walks in and greats the class

Moksha:hello, my name is Moksha. I hope we get along

She says with a smile as the guys aside from Kai who continues to lay on his arms while most girl scrawls at her. Moksha's eyes gaze around the room before landing on a boy with messy black hair with dark blue and purple tips laying on his arms as she smiles again

Moksha:'there you are'

Teacher:you can sit infront of mister Morningstar

He says as Moksha bows and heads to her desk as the class starts, something Kai could care less about

Moksha:*whishper*psst, hey!

She whispers to the hybrid who does nothing before she turns around at him and pokes him

Teacher:and you will be working in a group of two for this project

He says as the class begin to divide into their groups as the guys try to get the brunettes attention but get nothing from her who only continues to poke and prood the hybrid infront of her

Kai:*muffled* what do you want?

He says as Moksha smiles at him

Moksha:didn't you hear the teacher? You're my partner, silly

She says as the boy lifts his head his mismatched crimson and green eyes meeting her hazel ones as a small blush appears on her face

Moksha:*under breathe* oh my...your more handsome than I thought...

Kai is able to hear that but ignores it

Kai:oi, you gonna keep starting or what?

Moksha:oh! Sorry. I didn't know I was staring

Kai sighs at the girls shyness

TIMESKIP: Kai is seen outside on a bench enjoying a soda as Annie come from a corner

Annie:there you are

She then sits down next to him

Annie:I was looking all over for you, you know that?

She says while opening her can of soda

*crack*

Kai:so who am I going up against now?

Annie:the former light-weight champion. Luke Rodriguez Valentino

She says while gulping down her soda

Kai:rules?

Annie:until one of you taps out. Which means your basically allowed to kill each other

Kai:hmm...

He hm's to himself as someone slaps his soda can out his hand as he looks up to see a guy from his class

Delinquent:hey, fucktard. Who the hell do you think you are huh? Talking to the new girl?

He says as the demon and hybrid look him up and down as Annie finishes her drink

Annie:anyway, try not to get blood on yourself or kill the bastard. The fight starts at 8 sharp don't be late

She says before sitting up and throwing the can into a nearby bin without looking and puts her hands in her pockets and looks at Kai from over her shoulder

Annie:don't get blood on yourself

She then walks away with a wave

Annie:see ya!

Only for a delinquent to grab her wrist

Delinquent8:Hey! We were!-

*CRUNCH*

Only for the demon to slam her elbow into his face as he let's go of her wrist and drops to his knees holding his now bleeding face

Annie:don't take me for a damsel in distress boys. Anyway see ya around, Kai

She says and leaves as Kai sighs and stands up while taking his uniform jacket off and rolling his sleeves up

Kai:*sigh* I just wanted to have a nice quiet lunch. But now you guys have to ruin it

He says and looks at the group of boys infront of him a clear height difference between them

Delinquent:hey! Fucktard, I don't think you realize that there only one of you and four of us

Kai:even better

He says blankly as the boy infront of him pulls his fist back

Delinquent:YOU COCKY FUCKER!

He throws his fist at the boy

WITH ANNIE: Annie is seen just behind the corner and hears the altercation begin and crys of pain

She hears something fall down as she looks to the side to see Kai completely unharmed as the two begin to walk away not noticing Moksha had seen the entire thing along side a man in a suit who smirks and walks away
