3RD PERSON POV: preliminaries,unlike the main tournament composed of 1:1 matches. Numerous participants start simultaneously and try to sieze the flag in a "capture the flag battle royal". Whoever sticks the flag in the ground at the destination is the winner of the preliminaries. Due to the battle royal nature of the competition,many other factors aside from fighting power can affect the outcome,such as strategy, luck and judgment,so even more students and invitees have a chance! This is why it is far more competitive than the main tournament. Whoever passes the preliminaries receives longer time to recover from their wounds and to prepare for the G.O.H vytal tournament than those who pass the main tournament,so every student or invitee who wants to enter the G.O.H vytal dreams of winning the preliminaries

A robotic voice says as walls rise from the ground and surround the area as a school girl is seen walking toward the bleachers

She says with anger clear in her voice as a long pause followed between them, with the Schnee deciding to break it

Ruby then grabs her by her collar and pulls her close, clear anger written on her face

Ruby:you gotta be shiting me, Wiess!!
