"Oh my gosh, Sungie!
You look so cute, look at your belly!"

"Shut up, will you?!
Is it really that obvious?"

Jisung hurriedly looked around
if anyone had heard the freckled
omega and tried to pull his jacket
close but since his leather jacket
wasn't as flexible as a normal
fabric jacket, he couldn't
close it anymore.

"If you know it, it's obvious.
For a stranger.. Hm, you
could also just look like..
Nah, you actually look pregnant, Ji.
But that's alright. I mean, you are...
pregnant after all, right?"

But the ravenette only buried his
face in his hands as he sighed.

"Not helpful, Lix.
Really not helpful."

The tiny pup had really grown
quite a bit so the baby bump was
definitely noticeable now but Jisung
was lucky that it was slowly
getting colder.

It was now September,
already a little chilly outside
and the little omega looked
forward to finally being able
to hide his belly under his own
(maybe actually Minho's) hoodies.

"Let's go before it gets dark,
Minho will cut my ears off if I
dare to come home too late"

Jisung chuckled as he stepped
on his board while he still tried
to close his jacket.

"Stop it Ji, if you close it
it's even more obvious."

Which was partly a lie because
no matter what the little omega tried,
it was hard to oversee the cute
swell on his tummy.

"Last one at the green bench pays
for the next café visit!"

Felix suddenly screamed but
before the other could actually reply,
the freckle omega was already gone
and laughing like a maniac.

Races had always been their thing,
ever since the two had known each
other they had been doing that to
warm up so it wasn't like they
weren't skilled in what they
were doing.

But today was a little different.

Maybe it was because fate was
on Minho's side and wanted to
prove the older's words when
the alpha had pleaded Jisung
multiple times not to skate
anymore, maybe it was just
because fate was an
asshole to them.

Because when Felix reached
the bench first and turned
around with the brightest smile
on his face, ready to tease his
best friend, the other was
nowhere to be seen.

At least not as close as the
freckled boy would have guessed.

"J-ji?"

And the silver haired omega could
feel his heart shatter into a thousand
pieces when his eyes fell on the small
shaking lump on the floor a few
feet away from him, pained cries
escaping the little ravenette.

Minho was there faster than
the ambulance and literally
devastated at the sight of his
mate crying and in so much pain.

The worst thing was that Jisung
couldn't even tell him where
exactly he was hurting, he had
fallen on his side so the older
male didn't hear the
'My belly is not hurting'
he so desperately wanted to hear.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry"

Was everything the little omega
was crying like a mantra to himself
ever since his mate was beside him
and he only stopped when they got
separated in the hospital.

But the person who blamed
himself the most beside Minho
who had allowed Jisung to go beside
the bad feeling he had, was Felix.

"Lix, what happened?"

The orange-haired alpha eventually
asked, his voice so quiet and broken
that the other almost missed it.

"I- We.. We just had a race to
the bench l-like always but..
When I was there, Ji wasn't
a-and when I turned around,
he had already laid there..
He must have tripped"

Felix sobbed quietly,
his cries only getting harder
when Minho pulled him in a hug.

He didn't deserve to be hugged,
he was the one being reckless
and bringing Jisung to do stupid
things without spending a
thought on how dangerous it
actually was for his pregnant
best friend.

"Promise me to never do that again.
Promise me that you'll stop Jisung
from stepping on a skateboard
from now on as long as he's
carrying our baby.."

If he was actually still carrying
their baby, who knew after
what happened.

"I promise."
