"Hey Sungie, how was your day?"
Minho smiled and kissed his mate's head when the little omega looked up at him with big puppy eyes from his spot on their bed.
"Min?"
"Hm?"
"You won't believe what happened today when I was waiting for the bus."
"You saw a cute cat too? I swear the baby cat this morning-"
"Noo"
Jisung grabbed a pillow that was lying beside him to hit his boyfriend with it, it was the only way to shut the older one up when he was talking about cats.
"Sungie!"
But the little omega only giggled sheepishly and hid under the blanket when his alpha reached over to tickle him.
That didn't stop Minho from pulling the blanket bundle on his lap though to cuddle him some more.
"Tell me what happened, love"
He cooed as he nuzzled his nose in his mate's black fluffy hair, smiling when Jisung whined and squirmed in his hold.
"The baby kicked! At first I thought it was just my tummy about to get upset again or another weird craving forming in there but then I realized it was the pup."
"R-really? The baby moved? A-already?"
"Yeah! But I couldn't feel it when I placed my hand on my belly so I don't think you'll be able to feel it either, not yet at least.. "
The ravenette pouted as he peeked out of his blanket cocoon, squeaking cutely when Minho immediately took the opportunity to peck the younger's nose.
Of course the alpha was a little bit sad that he wouldn't be able to feel their baby move anytime soon but he didn't show it.
Maybe it was because he was also really happy about the way Jisung told him about it so excitedly.
Or it was just simply because he knew that their little pup would be strong enough for their daddy to feel them move very soon, he wouldn't have to wait that much longer anymore and he also knew that he'd be the first to feel it.
"That's so cool, the puppy can move already. I didn't know they're so strong already that you can feel it."
"Maybe they were excited about the mint milk tea I tried for the first time today"
The ravenette chuckled but whined when Minho tried to place more kisses on the younger's chubby cheeks.
"Was it good? I've always wanted to try it but never got the chance to.."
"Yeah, it was surprisingly good! And the color is so pretty, let's go together next time. Maybe we can convince the baby to kick a little stronger then"
Jisung chuckled and decided not to protest when his mate pulled him closer.
"Let's sleep, darling. We got a doctor's appointment tomorrow, right? I'm excited to see the peanut, they've grown quite a bit."
Even if the younger male would never say it out loud, he found it really adorable how excited Minho was about their pup.
It made his heart flutter how the alpha's eyes always lit up when someone mentioned the peanut and how his voice sounded a lot more gentle and fond whenever he talked about their little one.
If someone was absolutely ready to become a father, it was Minho.
And even if Jisung was still a little overwhelmed with everything and not used to the fact that there was a tiny human growing safely under his heart, he knew that no matter what, he'd be alright.
Because his mate loved and supported him unconditionally and he'd always make sure that the little omega felt safe and alright.
Minho was there, for him and for their puppy.
"Good night, Minmin."
"Good night, Sungie. Good night little peanut, see you tomorrow. I love you both so much."
The orange-haired alpha smiled softly as he nuzzled his nose in Jisung's nape and slipped his hand under the younger's shirt to give their baby a good night pat.
And every night he did that his heart skipped a beat feeling the small swell on his omega's belly grow bigger and every night he still couldn't believe they were one day closer again to meet their sweet little peanut.
