It was close to midnight, the moon was shining unusually bright that night and Minho couldn't sleep.
He was sure that it wasn't only the moon's fault, it was probably also because of all the thoughts twirling around in his head.
Jisung was snoring softly, curled up in his alpha's embrace and his tail wagging softly in his sleep when his boyfriend ran his hand up and down his back.
All the emotional stress and the exhaustion from the morning sickness had drained the little omega extremely but now that Minho was there, holding him and not hating him, he had fallen asleep almost instantly.
And maybe his body was also needing a lot of energy to help the tiny bean in his belly grow healthy and happy.
"My sweet boy"
The orange-haired alpha nuzzled his nose in his mate's soft black hair, inhaling the familiar scent of summer forest and rain as he carefully slipped his hand under Jisung's shirt to place it on the omega's soft tummy.
It had actually gotten a teeny tiny bit chubbier already even though the omega had barely eaten anything the past weeks, more like he didn't keep anything down.
And it made Minho realize, this was real.
They were having a baby, a tiny pup.
He was having a child with his little chaotic wild emo boyfriend.
And Jisung was only 19.
But knowing that he wanted the baby was calming, it was a huge relief to the older male.
Plus seeing the positive changes of the pregnancy already gave him hope, his cute little omega had gotten so cuddly already and Minho never wanted this to change again.
"And here I thought we had finally reached the point where we could relax a little and not worry about money and stuff anymore. Guess we won't go on vacation next summer, at least not to Europe. I don't think we'll travel at all with a tiny baby, maybe we can go on a small vacation before the pup comes though. We'll see, I guess."
The alpha gently drew small circles on his mate's chubby tummy, butterflies dancing in his stomach at the thought that maybe their baby could feel his touch.
Their little one was probably way too small for that yet but Minho was allowed to dream, right?
Jisung purred softly as he snuggled closer to his alpha, not aware of all the thoughts twirling around in the older's head and just happy to be close to his baby's daddy.
And the orange-haired male only placed a little kiss right between his mate's black fluffy ears.
Minho didn't get much sleep that night since his little omega woke him up at 6am again because of the damn morning sickness but that was okay, he knew that he'd have to get used to sleepless nights because of their little one.
And as weird as this might sound, he was excited for those nights that are yet to come where he'd have to get up at 3am to calm a crying baby.
"Sungie, where are you going?"
Minho wondered as he watched his omega put a black shirt over his black and white striped long-sleeved shirt, smiling when Jisung even put the ring on that his mate had gifted him on their third anniversary.
"Out with the boys."
"To the skatepark?"
"Nah, there's a new barbecue place and Hyunjin was whining that we all should meet since it's been ages. It's true though, I haven't seen them all since all the baby mess happened."
"Okay love, enjoy the food. But remember that your stomach is still a bit sensitive and that there's a baby now, I read that you can't eat-"
"Min."
Jisung turned around after he had put his earrings in to walk over to his worried mate.
"I know, I'll take care. I have a list on my phone of what I can't eat, I'll check before I order."
"Thank you. You look really hot, you know? I got such a beautiful mate"
Minho chuckled before placing a soft peck on the younger's forehead when the little omega blushed cutely.
