But Felix only shook his head
and took the bag from Jisung,
not being able to see how his
already weak bestie almost
collapsed under the little
weight of his bag.

"Yes, I want to get this piercing.
Also I want to see you in tears,
tongue piercings are really painful."

"Remind me why we're
friends again?"

"Because I'm cool and you love me"

Jisung giggled as he batted
his eyelashes, making the
freckled omega grin.

"Sure, whatever makes
you sleep at night."

At least the ravenette was in a
good mood, Felix didn't know
any other omega who'd willingly
leave the house or even their
mate's side during heat but
Jisung had always been
a bit different.

"Lix?"

"Hm?"

"How's Chan?"

The silver-haired male only sighed,
hating this topic.

"Not good.
You know, the worst thing
is that I don't even know
how to help him.

He's not going to all his therapy
sessions because he insists that
he has to work although we all told
him multiple times to work less.
I don't know what to do anymore
and I'm scared of making him angry."

Jisung knew that even though Felix
loved his mate more than anything,
his fear wasn't unreasonable.

It wasn't Chan's fault,
it was the depression that
made him like this sometimes.

The Chan they all knew and
cherished wouldn't hurt a fly.

"Have you thought about going
on a little couple trip?
A few days booking a little
cottage somewhere in the
mountains or at the beach
where you two can focus
on yourself.

Maybe it'd help him relax
a little because he needs to
take a break from work but
I think it'd help you, Lix.
Please don't forget that even
though Chan needs a lot of
care and understanding,
you're also part of this
relationship and need
care and understanding too.
It's not easy for you either, right?"

The freckled omega only nodded
silently, blinking his eyes rapidly
to hide his unshed tears.

Jisung's words had gotten
him because he was right,
Felix was suffering too.

It was part of an omega's nature
to feel love and warmth from
their alpha, to feel that they'd
always get protected.

But this feeling of safety wasn't there,
not when Chan was busy fighting
his own demons.

I didn't know you could
think this deeply."

Jisung only laughed when
his best friend sniffled softly,
the other was just like a brownie.

A little dark and crisp on the
outside but inside he was sweet,
gooey and very soft.

although Minho always says I
should go look for it when I
roll my eyes at him."

The two omegas got their piercings,
a tongue piercing for Felix and
a nose piercing for Jisung.

And although the ravenette had
felt relatively good on the way
there and in the piercing studio,
after they left he suddenly
began to feel bad again.

An uncomfortable heat stirred
in the pit of his stomach when
they reached the bus stop,
making him whimper and Felix,
being an omega as well,
immediately picked up on
the change in his bestie's scent.

The freckled male asked
worriedly when he heard the
small whimper and hesitantly
took the other's hand that he had
subconsciously balled into a fist.

"I- urgh.. Home.."

"We're on our way,
the bus is here in two minutes.
Or should I call Minho, hm?"

Jisung only nodded but sank
to his knees when another wave
of pain crept up his lower back.

He could only hope that he wouldn't
also start to feel sick inside the bus,
he didn't need any more humiliation.

Felix knelt down beside his friend
with a frown on his face and wrapped
his arms around the one day older,
embracing them with his sweet
soothing omega scent as well.

Jisung really liked the other omega's
scent, Felix smelled like fresh waffles.

And he did a good job covering
the smell of sour rain and foul wood.

"Almost home Ji,
only a few more minutes.
