"I was sick all week with the flu and I decided to go to work I was going to rest but I felt dizzy and well I passed out" I say

"I had to work just finish on things I was going to rest right after but it caught up to me" I say and close my eyes
"Honey I was scared when I heard the news who brought you here" he says
"I found her in the bathroom and brought her down and the ambulance took her here" Marcelo says
"Where is the other boyfriend or should I say plural boyfriend?" Jeff says
"Jeff please not here or ever it's not right accept it" I say

He went to shower and get some of Kaela things to make her more comfortable Marcelo says and I nod
"Kaela i feel like asking you to stay with us you never used to get so sick and on top of it end up in the hospital nevertheless" dad says
"Dad I'm a grown adult and it was mistake I didn't listen to my body only one to blame is me it won't happen again and I'm fine ill be out of here in no time and you can't make me come home like a baby I'm way passed that faze in my life" I say
"When I called your mom she was so scared I had to beg her not to just drive over in such a worried state" he says
"I didn't want to worry anyone please call her and tell her I'm fine dad I don't want to think that she's at home freaking out when I'm here please" I say and he nods and the nurse walks in as Jeff approaches closer
She starts checking everything is normal and has pills in her hand and walks over to me with a smile
"Okay Ms. blanc seems like fever is broken and you seem to be responding much better then when you got here so here are pills for the flu but don't worry they're safe for the babies here is also the prenatal vitamins" and my heart drops I can see my brothers eyes go wide but it's my dad walking back in at that exact moment that almost kills me
"What!!!" He yells in the room and Jack and Marcelo get-up immediately and come by my side the nurse looks scared and sad because she thinks she just fucked up
"Are you okay? Would you like me to ask them to leave!" she ask looking directly at me
"I'm not leaving until I get an explanation I'm her father Kaela tell me what's going on this instant" he commands
"Sir this is not what my patient needs so please I can understand you are worried but this behavior is not it again Kaela are you okay" she says
"Yes they can stay thank you i appreciate it" I say and she smiles at me and nods
"Please ring me if you change your mind or need anything I'll come" she says and exits
"Kaela please tell me I heard wrong it can't be true" he says
"I'm pregnant dad you and mom are going to have grand kids thats why she gave me prenatal vitamins" I say looking away trying to keep my tears in
